I couldn't let her keep on crying as she was waking up my 2year old! i do know shes only a baby but someone must know how to stop this?? plz!

Welcome to the wonderful world of puppy raising.

She will be more work than your 2 year old for the next YEAR!!!

Puppies are labor intensive until they reach adulthood. They really are like babies. Especially the smart ones like German Shepards. The smarter the dog (and GSD's are among the smartest alive today) the more training and "labor" they need.
Then, just as you start thinking you might be making some progress, she'll hit "teenager" and start testing her boundaries, and your patience.

You just have to learn to live with it.
Sorry.

P.S.
You may as well take her to bed with you.
You've already taught her that you will come running when she crys. Guess what? It's gonna be nearly impossible to break that habit.
Try bringing the crate in with you. She may lay in it if she can see you. Probably not, but you can try.

EDIT:
That "clock in the teddy bear" trick is garbage.

Aww, poor baby!

You could try wrapping a hot water bottle and ticking clock in a towel: That might remind her of momma enough that she'll calm down. But the fact is, the puppy's young and scared, and will keep crying for at least another day or two. You'll have to tough it out, or give her to someone who can.

Good luck!

When I first got my Siberian Husky, she was 6 weeks. old. She WOULD NOT stay in her crate without crying and pooping everywhere! It is just scared. Let it sleep with you for a while and get it used to the crate. It is just very scared, it has no idea what is going on, ya know. It is not going to stop crying....

You could try putting her crate in your room where she can see you. I'm not sure if it will work, but you could try. Tomorrow call your vet and ask if there is anything that you can do. I think that is my best suggestion. Sorry. When I fist got my dog she cried an cried. She eventually stopped, but I can surely feel your pain.

There isn't anything you can really do. Puppies do that when they don't know where they are. After a few nights she will calm down and get use to her surroundings. Just leave her alone and don't do anything to encourage it. Don't keep going to her, cause that shows her that if she cries she gets attention.

i got my akita x husky wen he was 8 wks old too. wen we got him home all he did was sniff everything n wen it came time to sleep, he wud cry alot too... not to mention the pooin n peein he did. its jus his first few nights by himself away from his litter n mom. he'll get over it eventually. mines did.

try having a hot water bottle hidden underneath his bed so it feels warm jus like it use to wen he was with his mom. i sat with my puppy until he feel asleep n then i jus left him. u might end up wakin up throughout the night by ur puppy's cries but dunt come runnin out everytime he does. let him cry himself out, if he doesnt, jus go check if he's made a mess of his room or not (that's why mines kept on crying mainly).

dunt worry, eventually ur puppy will settle down after the first few nights. i felt like crying myself wen my puppy kept on cryin too. patience is the key. gd luck

in her cage put in a large stuffed animal and a clock that ticks then cover her cage at night so she knows it is bedtime give her some time she will get used to being alone also put the cage where she cannot see you and where it does not bother anyone
