Molesters rarely change and stop what they do. She can forgive but she needs to be aware he is probably still preying on other children.

It is wrong to give him another chance.
The nature of molestation is, that an older person takes advantage of a younger person sexually, because the younger person is too young to really understand what is happening. Therefore, no matter how she feels right now, she is in no position to have any contact with him.
I have no doubt that he was friendly and gained her confidence only for the purpose of molesting her. She's young and it's hard for her to believe that.
It may be okay for her to "love" him and "forgive" him, but she should never give him another chance to hurt her. No matter what he says, that is what will happen if he gets the chance.

I cant and wont forgive the monster that molested me and i am a christian. I was badly abused for 8 long years and my mom didnt believe me and if my dad had found out he would of killed him. I know the bible says forgive but he changed me in ways i dont like he took away my innocence and he took my trust and that is hard for me to get back. I think if she needs to forgive him than good for her but dont let her have alone time with this guy or who ever and dont let her go to him at anytime by herself,or he may repeat the pattern cause they say once a molester always a molester... good luck and l hope this helped...

Forgiving is what she should do but never forget. Remember he did her wrong. he does not deserve another chance.

Yes, because he won't forget that even though he did not serve time , he was charged. I think that he will be furious at her and he will try something again.
