READ THOUROUGHLY BEFORE ANSWERING:

I'M NOT A SATANIST OR ANYTHING!

I was simply curious.

In Chritian belief, Angels (like Lucifer) were perfect spiritual beings (but can still sin but the only sin they were capable of was Pride and Envy and nothing else).

Now, what if God let Satan overthrow him in the beginning of time?

Fast facts first:

Satan did NOT create Hell, God did.
So, if Satan would have overthrown God, Hell (together with eternal punishment) wouldn't exist.

Satan simply wanted to be equal or greater than God and that's why he wanted to sit on his throne and command everything and would care about the welfare and development of his people, like a king would.

Angels in Heaven are never evil. They can simply be prideous or envious coz that is the only sin that they can make.

At this time, since sin is not an issue because Satan is now the new god, Satan would have no reason to corrupt Adam and Eve because they would now be 'his creatures'.

And to brian8907, No, they didn't throw out God out of Heaven. They would just keep him in Heaven but in a lower post/position or something.

Like an Angel's secretary or something.

THIS IS A HYPOTHETICAL QUESTION! THAT'S WHY IT'S LABELED "Just for the sake of arguement"

IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THAT MEANS, THEN PLEASE EXCLUDE YOURSELF OUT OF A PROPER DISCUSSION.

NOTE: AT THE TIME AND AGE OF THE BEGINNING OF TIME, PRIDE AND ENVY WERE THE ONLY THINGS THAT AN ANGEL CAN COMMIT BECAUSE, COMMON SENSE, EARTH DIDN'T EXIST YET. SO SINS LIKE: Theft, murder, lying didn't exist yet. And since Heaven doesn't have physical aspects, anything that is associated with physical sin never existed yet. Sins like malice towards a sexy woman or stuff like that didn't sexist yet. So pretty much Pride and envy were the only sins that you could commit.

The reason Lucifer hated humans was because God told the Angels to bow to them, his new imperfect creations. Satan being so perfect and all, didn't like this idea.

But if he did get to sit on the throne, Adam and Eve would be his new imperfect pets. Why would he hurt them when he can mold Adam and Eve to be like him or something.

THINK OF IT THIS WAY:

If your dad asked you to bow down to his new imperfect dog. Then you would be pretty pissed off and of course you refused to do so. But if ever your dad died and passed on that imperfect dog to you. You would take care of it right? Coz you won't have any reason to kick the imperfect dog's *** because there's no reason to be jealous of it. It's your creation and responsibility now.

I don't think satan knew what God was up to "at the beginning of time." It took satan a few billion years to figure out that "humans" were the reason for this new thing called 'a universe" God had created. Thus it was impossible to to overthrow God (at the beginning of time, due to ignorance) But if God could be overthrown then he would not be God and we would not have a real meaning of the word G O D.

ok, you can't expect to be higher than your creator. and satan is truly evil, god knows this, what makes you assume that he would be a caring leader. if he was caring he wouldn't cause all the problems that we have to face today, just because he's mad at god, if he was caring he wouldn't be responsible for all the death, rape, theievery, cheating, disease, heartache, etc. and there wouldn't have been adam or eve because god created them not satan, so he wouldn't have the chance to tempt them. satan is not capable of creating anything, so why should he get to be in charge of all of the things god created. thats like saying you have a house full of kids but someone else should be allowed to be the boss and in charge of them. or you make a beautiful home with your own hands and then someone comes along and says, i think i should get to live there and rule over your house that you built for yourself and your family. so they should just be allowed to just take over because they will probably take care of your house. no, thats the same thing prettymuch, do you have any idea what life would be like if he had control over everything. other than the fact that we wouldn't exist because he can't make us, all other living things that were already created would be tortured forever, if he is capable of doing the things he does now then god knew this, and he needed to be banished. and even though the first sin he committed was pride, that just leads to another and another, then heaven would become just as corrupt as earth, he was given earth to rule until god returns, and look what a shitty job he's done so far. if he really wanted to do right , he could and maybe god would have forgiven him, but he doesn't and he will never try. so he deserves the fate that awaits him.

I don't know where you've gotten your story from but you couldn't be farther from the truth.

Yes, god first created the Angels but he was disatisfied with them for he let them eat from the tree of life thereby granting them eternal life.

So god created man then woman and he bestowed his love upon them and ordered that all the angels bow before man.

This action created a strong rift among the angels and forced them into three separate camps.

Those who loved god without argument and the humans.
Those who hated the human but loved god nonetheless.
Those who hated god and the humans.

Lucifer rose to lead this last group and he, along with other angels such as Gabriel sought to remove god from power. Michael lead the army defending god. Lucifer lost.

As punishment god created hell as a place to torment Lucifer and his cronies. It wasn't until the temptation of Eve that humanity became able to be sent to hell.

Now, to assume that Lucifer would look after humans is a bit flawed. Remember, he hated humanity for it was upon them that god bestowed his love and demanded that the angels bow to humans.

I really don't think that Lucifer would have been all the wonderful to us.

This is why I love the religious peeps so much. They simply have no clue. ichoops said:

"As a Christian I believe that the answer would be bad. If God was overfthrown then Satan might not have even made the Earth. And plus everything would be different if he did. For example pride and envy wouldnt be sins becuase if they were he would be sinning and God cant sin. If you dont get what I am saying contact me and I will explain."

So let me get this straight.....God first creates the angels then everything else. Last of all god creates man, bestows his love upon man and orders the angels to bow before man which sparks the whole "War of Heaven" thing.

So....tell me how if Satan won he wouldn't have made the earth? The earth was already made at the time of the War of Heaven. Had ole' Lucy won then there would simply be hell on earth for Lucifer would not have been able to undo creation.

At least try to learn your own religion before you hope to teach it to us.

Are you stating that pride and envy are the only sins an angel would be capable of as part of your hypothetical scenario, or because you believe that to be true?

It seems to be a pivotal part of your assertion, but is not in evidence. For starters, who says that pride and envy are the only sins an angel could commit? Where do you read that?

The fall was planned and did not surprise God. You need to read Rom 8 and II Timothy again. I feel sorry for your god- no wonder Satan seems to be all powerful to you. How can a created being be more powerful than the one who made him? You outta explain that.

with the aid of fact God knows all the a threat outcomes to each decision every person, alongside with the devil, makes. So, God knew the what the destiny would be like if Lucifer saved his place in Heaven and what it would be if he abandoned it. God nonetheless allowed him to choose for understanding the two a threat futures.

Dear Satan never tried to overthrow God. God knew what he was up to all the time.
He lost his job for trying to incite the angles to demand that God declare Satan a God too.

It is because Christians have difficulty understanding the concept that it would be UNJUST to condemn someone to an eternity of hellfire for the sins of a finite life and understanding. Therefore, their concept of God, salvation, and the afterlife is as an unjust demon or monster. They must serve Satan in all actuality.

Of course it is also unjust and barbaric to have someone else suffer for the sins of another person. Since God made the rules, he could have chosen to forgive without barbaric sacrifices.
