Why cant these people live AT the Poverty line instead of WAY below it

Probably because they are too cheap to give up their free golf passes, etc. - instead of fixing the problems that their greed has caused...

it's not much better in America. In America, a veteran, can be discharged from a hospital after a cholectomy(operation with the bag) and pushed out of the van and dropped off into a homeless section to die. I can't comprehend how this could happen but it does.
