You dont want to.. me and my ex broke up and my manager helped heaps.. i got feelings for him but didnt want anything to happen.. he wanted to hook up for fun.. after 2 weeks of thinking about it i said no then he said im playing games about it.. he told me not to tell anyone but people already know, no one has said anything but is there a chance i can lose my job over it???? PLEASE HELP IM SOOO WORRIED!

The law is where i am, that managers dont have to have a reason to fire you :(

you could... he could make up an excuse to fire you over this, if he does then you report him for sexual harassment..

No, you can't lose your job over it - unless you do something seriously wrong in your job the manager can't fire you at all. However, things could be a little difficult so either see if you can distance yourself a little further or think about getting another job.

SOrry to tell you this but it's against the law for mangers or bosses to tell aan employee that if they don't hook up with them they will fire them. All you need to do is record when and where and how many times he has approached you. ALso it's called sexual harassment. SO tell him to back off or else.

Reality says that legally he cannot fire you for not agreeing to his advances (some may say sexual harrassment at the workplace). However he can watch your output at work and keep a well documented written description of your mistakes etc. So I would suggest that you be very careful, but do not fear any repercusions but watch yourself just in case.

That's sexual harrassment. your job is safe by law or his ass can get sued
