Pagans do not worship the devil. Also, your beloved Christianity was based on paganism. Hate to burst your bubble, dear.

Do not put your beliefs on me. I am a Pagan and do not believe in the devil. He was created by men to make sure that their brainwashed flock followed their rules. I am a recovering Catholic. I became a Pagan when I realized that the entire bible is plagiarized. Do not assume that we know nothing. Some of us study other religions as well, so as not to be as closed minded as you are. Not to mention, every year, you probably perform a few pagan ceremonies. Like decorating a christmas tree or celebrate st brigit. Who by the way is a goddess known as Brigid. How about you look up the religion you are bashing and come back with some real arguments.

Satan is a Christian concept, not a pagan one. Thus, you will find no devil worshipping there. Sorry to disappoint you.
You can, however, take the time to educate yourself on the subject. I've spent years learning about the religions of the world, and it's been very enlightening. (And I don't have to concern myself with looking ignorant.)
If Pagans have a negative impression of Christians, and most pagans I know are extremely tolerant, postings like yours don't help your "cause." Now, feel free to report me for abuse. That is what happens when a Non-Christian makes a good point, isn't it?

::sneezes:: Sorry, can't tell if that was the allergies to strawmen, or to trolling BS.
Many Pagans know quite a bit about Christianity because many of us once were Christians, and eventually reached the realization that it wasn't for us. This gives us a rather good "insider's view" to start with. On top of that, many Pagans actually have read the Bible, in some cases multiple times. (This should be contrasted with the number of Christians who speak out against Paganism, yet haven't studied Paganism particularly well.)
And, while your assertations that we're devil worshippers or evil are really sweet, they're totally off-base.

The Pagans I know are cool. They didn't worship devil, they believe in spirits, goddess, i.e. Very loving and excepting, I am of Christian belief, we have no problems getting along. We just agree, we all believe in powers beyond our own. At least they do Believe in something besides themselves. I'm sorry I do not know alot about the Pagan beliefs, if I stated something about you're belief that was wrong, I did not mean to be disrespectful.

Pagans don't worship the devil. People have their own thoughts and abilities and are able to study. How do you know that some of these "Pagans" haven't studied Christianity for themselves and just don't agree with it? Or maybe they were introduced to it by someone in the wrong way? It sounds to me like you don't know enough about Pagans to even comment.

We don't worship the devil
b/c most of us don't believe in the devil
(or any entity of absolute evil or good)
&& a person can *know* something w/o believing it
I've studied MANY religions before becoming Wiccan and I continue to study & discuss them now.
Yet, I'd have to say that a true Christian wouldn't hate and pass judgements, espcially those so severe as "they simply are evil people." in reference to an entire group (or an individual, of course.). You seem to be the misguided one "acting" like you know things [if that's what you would call your little display of ignorance, that is.].
However I sort of feel bad for you; and I've really no hard feelings about this. I merely wish for you to learn tolerance && accepting && unconditional love towards other people. I think you'll find yourself a lot happier, and in better graces with both your religious standerds && other people.
Blessed be.

Whoa, slow down Tiger. What makes you confuse Paganism with Devil Worship? And, further, why do you think that knowing about Christianity means you accept it tenets?
But, at least, you are asking questions, and that is good.

You are correct. They take a few verses and claim biblical knowledge. They also want to deny that their unbelief is not Satanistic when if they had real study the Word they would know that any denial of God or Christ is indeed spawned by Satan himself who has power over the unbeliever.
That may not be worship but they are still under his flag.

That questions a trap, and incorrect. Pagans are not devil worshipers! (after I entered my comment I realized this was already pointed out a number of times, but oh well).
Your rant clearly indicates how little you know about Christianity and it's origins to begin with. So no intelligent answer would matter to you, as you have your feeble mind made up already!

You are so wrong for calling Pagans devil worshipers. I am a Christian but I have studied the Pagan religion and have found that they have faith in there God and Goddess just like us Christians do. They are not evil people nor do they worship the devil. You need to read and study your religions better before you start namecalling.. SO childish. I respect all peoples religion
