I try to avoid faith. I prefer reason.

very strong, i have seen the evidence of God all throughout my life, he has intervened for me on numerous occasions, most recently my daughter was in so much pain i had to go to her house, she couldn't walk she was hurting so bad, i took her to the doctor and they did a x-ray and told us they would call us as soon as the surgeon looked at them, we didn't even get home before they were calling telling us to come back that the surgeon needed to see her. when we got there he said he wanted her in the hospital right away that something was wrapped around her intestines in two different places and that he would have to go in and cut part of her intestines out, so she was admitted to the hospital and was scheduled for surgery the next day. we prayed hard! the next day the dr. came in and asked her how she was feeling, she told him she felt a lot better and asked if he could do another x-ray just to be sure, so he did. he came back a couple of hours later and said, I don't know how or why but what i saw yesterday is not there now, my daughter told him she'd been praying and he said, well, it worked, and sent her home. she hasn't had anymore symptoms at all. praise God! coincident? i think not!

Well hopefully it is stronger today then it was yesterday. I would say that I hope that nothing can seperated me from God.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

But I will not let down my guard....

1 Corinthians 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

So we must keep our faith strong to finish the race. It is not those who merely start the race( accept Jesus) who make it across the finish line (heaven) but those who endure ( have the faith) to the bitter end.

1 Corinthians 9:24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

Therefore it is not enough to be called, nor is it enough to be chosen. but we must also be faithful....

Revelation 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

God bless Cap'n Arlo

Faith isn't something that's readily quantifiable. You can't say that someone believes in God more or less than someone else, because they either believe it or they don't.

From my personal experience, I know God exists, but I can't answer what I would say if a gun were pointed to my head, because, in all honesty, I may say the sky is brown to get the gun lowered, irrespective of my beliefs or the truth.

Like Yoda says, "Do or do not; there is no try." I think you either have faith or you don't. I do.

I would like to say that my faith is strong, but because I am weak sometimes my faith is shaken. I have been tested very hard over the last couple of years, nothing like Job or Paul, but pretty severe for a modern day man. I would like to ask all of my brothers and sisters in Christ to pray for me and my family. Thanks

you just get them all here, my faith is strong, my problem is that my Grandma used to tell me that God doesn't close a window without opening a door first. My problem is that I can't find the key.
