Zedekiah the last king of Judah consulted Jeremiah for God's will, whether he should surrender to Nebuchadnezzar.

God's will for him is to surrender his throne and people. He was afraid of the Jews rather God. He paid it by his sons death before his eyes, and that very eyes were put out. Later he was boud in fetters and he died in Babylon.

I contest ignorant people who say they know god's will. People who can't understand evolution or quantum physics make fools of themselves when they speak for god. It's self-serving and usually justifies the crimes of christians.
