He goes to the holding tank of Hell or Hades or Sheol and waits for the resurrection of the damned.

Revelation 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. 14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

As I recall from my Bible study days, it says that we die and it will be like we're asleep until Judgement Day. It says the time will pass in the blink of an eye. So it's like we are being judged immediately when really we are not. It says that all people will then be judged together, and Jesus is going to be sitting on his throne, separating the sheep from the goats, by reading from the Book of Life.

The Catholic Church teaches that all are judged immediately by Jesus Christ, the moment after their death.

Judgment Day will take care of those who remain when Jesus comes again, and will also reveal some of those things that all men have always wondered about, like what the precise nature of Adam's sin really was.

i have always heard that a christian goes to heaven after he dies. But I do know that everyone will be judged after the 2nd coming. Im not sure about sinners. I have also heard that when you did you are like in sleep. The dead know nothing.

The soul goes to either heaven or hell when one first dies, so they have to be judged by faith at first. Then, unbelievers will be judged at the Great White Throne Judgement, in which Jesus will judge them on every bad thing they've done in their life. Then, they will be cast into the Lake of Fire with satan and all of his followers.(this is the second death)

Waiting times are through the roof these days. Staff shortage. It's still St. Peter handling it all alone. So they are getting people to take a number and hang on to it.
Luckily, the magazines are all quite recent.
Well and then they judge - twice, to my knowledge. Once to establish where you'll be spending the time till judgment day, and then again on judgement day.
So, if you're planning to expire, wait as long as you can with it if you're unsure as to where they might put you.

Everyone who dies before the end of this system of things must wait, asleep in death as Jesus said, they must wait in the common grave of mankind, or Hell as everyone likes to put it.

I don't know about it.

God is all powerful and just. Of course He can judge all people in one instance.

But on the other hand, we have all eternity to wait on our line to be judge.

Well, I don't think about it. Most important is that I may be found guilty-free.
