now back to the accident dont think the bloke knew what he was doing. i didnt hear any skids my back bumper needed replacing because he kinked it and there were loads of hairline cracks. i was without my car for about a week and a half.

We started a claim against him through our insurance which we had to pay for the bumper to get replaced but we been paid that back now just the medical to get out of the way. im worried in case they think were lying about aour problems we had after our accident i mean we went to a doctors told them what happend and he just gave me ibrofen and my wife co codemol and i felt like he didnt beleve us. Its done nothing to me in helping i know nothings broken (hopefully) but i still get them naggin pains shooting up my back.

Do you think the other drivers gonna get away with it? had a letter today saying the other blokes insurance wont dispute any claim and will pay out in full (coz at start they said they doubt we got hurt) but they all say that!

What do you all think of our chances any questions or suggestions would be appriciated

Here in the U.S. you should be covered -- sounds like the other company has accepted 100% liability. Your pains and sorness are very normal. After all, unless you are a race driver and involved in crashes on a regular basis you body isn't used to being jolted around like that. Give it at least a week and see if the aches and pains have subsided. If not then you may need some more tests.
Luck...

You stopped he did not. He is liable. It is the duty of a driver to ensure that he drives in such a manner that he can stop without collision if anything happens in front of him. He goes round a bend and you have stopped. He should have been driving n a manner in which he could have stopped. I believe the lawyers call this Res Ipsa Locquiter ( i think i have spelt it correctly ) the facts speak for themselves. I hope you are insured and have handed the matter to your insurers' . It should not affect your no claims bonus in the long run I hope your I hope your renewal is some months ahead because it will affect your no claims if the claim has not been settled but if I am right here you wil get a refund.

like cowboy says on this one,you should be covered in full,it sounds like they have accepted responsibility for the accident so they will or should pay all medical expenses, good luck.

Get a lawyer on a contingency basis. Problems often don't appear until later.
