Dear Gig,

I see that you got some good ones already from Danny Haszard and Cordsoforion. I'll give you a star so that some of my contacts will give you several more.

One that I find extremely informative is at http://www.soulright.com

It has an excellent chart called One Truth Exposes a Thousand Lies - Traits Shared Between Jehovah and Jesus.

For His glory,

i'm considered one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I stick to the Christ as my non secular chief. All my ideals are based on the bible, and not on guy-made doctrines nor people who're in reaction to pagan or mythological religions. Pagan and mythological ideals such because of the fact the trinity and hellfire. Matthew sixteen:thirteen-sixteen John 20:30,31 Psalm eighty 3:18 Deuteronomy 6:4 Jeremiah 7:31 Revelation 20:14 Romans 6:23

I want to start my answer by saying Linedancer is correct about "Trinity". Other religion's perceive that the Father (Jehovah/Yahweh), the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit is One Godhead. That's why YOU will NEVER find that word Trinity in the Bible. Trinity is only a word description of the 3. As far as being co-equal they definitely are not; Jesus stated that a few times in the NT. On the other hand as they being co-eternal, I would think so. In the book of John (excellent book) that is the first what you will read about Jesus. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (2) He was with God in the beginning. (3) Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. (4) In Him was life, and that life was the light of men.
Everything can mist away, but God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit will always be.....eternal.
I made a playlist on my iTunes and I titled it "Jesus, Infinity".
Going back to your question, the JW's are DEFINITELY Christians. I say they are more Christians than what Christians (other believer's) think they are. They focus more on God but they do acknowledge Jesus. I mean you have to, Jesus says "No one goes to the Father except through Him."
Is is a mystery and I believe no one found the key scripture to unlock it. I think Jehovah God purposely did that for people to keep reading and learning about the Bible. God's message on this topic is somewhat hidden. Whoever finds it than that's who God chose to reveal the "mystery" too. Chosen one.
Oops, you said simply. It's Linedancer fault I got distracted! Its good to share.

An orthodox Christian website is www.equip.org

They deal with many pseudo-Christian and non-Christian groups, showing from the Bible what the problems are.

You could also go to info@christianfocus.com and enquire about obtaining a book published in 2000 called 'Fearless Love - Understanding Today's Jehovah's Witnesses'. The 'insider' information is fully sourced and anyone can check the JW material for themselves.

Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians. We are the only group on Earth that follows Jesus' command to preach the good news.

Do you accept this as the definition of "Christian"?

"1 a: one who professes belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ"

If this is an accurate definition then Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians!

What is a Christian? A Christian is a footstep follower of the teachings of Jesus Christ. The misinformed believe that Jehovah's Witnesses are not Christians because they do not believe in the trinity doctrine. But consider: Did Jesus ever say that God was triune and that he was God the Son, the second person in the trinity? Not even close.

The trinity is based on the Catholic Athanasian Creed, not the Bible. What is the trinity? In a nutshell, there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son (Jesus Christ) and Holy Spirit. The three persons of the Godhead are coequal and co-eternal.

Did Jesus say there is one God consisting of the Father, Son, and the holy spirit? No. Instead, he said that his Father, Jehovah, was the only true God. (John 17:3) Jesus also called himself God's Son, NOT God himself. At John 14:28, Jesus said: "The Father is greater than I am."

Jehovah's Witnesses are the only ones who comply with Jesus' instructions at Matt. 28:19, 20. Most church people ignore Jesus' command and are content to sit on their hands and pay a clergyman to do the preaching for them. Still, they call themselves good Christians. But when they see Jehovah's Witnesses taking up the "Great Commission," they accuse JW's of salvation by works.

So regardless of what others say, Jehovah's Witnesses are true Christians.

The Watchtower leaders are the 'ravenous wolves in sheep's clothing false prophets' that Jesus warned about . The Watchtower has defrauded MILLIONS of followers with their 1914 'Jesus returned to power' gospel of gobbledygook.

CHRISTIAN:

"of, pertaining to, or derived from Jesus Christ or His teachings." -Random House Unabridged Dictionary

JWs DO believe in Jesus and his teachings. For some reason, many people are ignorant of the above definition of the term "Christian". JWs do not believe that Jesus is God and so many uninformed people blindly declare that JWs are not Christian because of this instead of the actual definition.
