The anti-christ is going to be a world leader. The world is going to become under one government and he will be in control. He is going to sign a peace treaty with Israel that is suppose to last for 7 years. About 3 /12 years into it he will turn on Israel. He is going to then set up his throne in the temple of the jews and proclaim to be god. He will also require that people of the world take a "mark" on their foreheads or right hand. If you do take this mark you will not go to heaven, as by taking the mark you are worshipping the anti-christ as God. When he is suppose to show up I don't know.

Before the Anti-Christ is revealed there will be a series of attacks on Israel, leading up to a major attack that brings about the START of End Times scenario.

What we are talking about here is a sneak attack which probably includes nukes and is the battle prophesied in Ezekiel 38-39. This attack on Israel that Ezekiel prophesised is the start of the Great Tribulation and all the tribulation events follow on from there.

Before Ezekiel's prophecy of this sneak attack can come true something needs to happen that tricks Israel into believing that they are now safe from their enemies and they feel so secure they pull down their walls and anti-tank barriers and dismantle their defences.

SO we need to watch for a peace deal or peace keepers protecting Israel and then when we see Israel dismantle their defences that is the time for us to anticipate Ezekiel's prophecy which I think will unfold with Russia leading Iran in an attack on Israel. Another sign that this is Ezekiel's battle will be Damascus Syria getting nuked by Israel either as retaliation for something or as a pre-emptive strike.

Also the USA has to be neutralized.

No invasion of Israel can happen as long as the threat of US retaliation exists.

(America is already being weakened by your Government doing some really dumb things like failing to protect your borders and millions of illegal immigrants flooding into your Country as well as the ACLU and the socialist left trying to outlaw God, Christianity and the Bible, the dumbing down of your education system and the erosion of your civil liberties and liberal judges seeking to rewrite your constitution from their court benches!)

But mainly Israel has to be convinced they're finally at peace with their neighbors. That obviously isn't the case today

During this war against Israel, the anti-christ appears as a great statesman and diplomat and brokers a peace deal.(Dan 8:25)

The peace treaty he enforces begins Daniel's 70th week and permits the Jews to build their Temple, leading them to believe that he's on their side.

After 3 1/2 years he's consolidated his power enough to stand in the Holy Place and declare that he's God (see 2 Thes. 2:4).

It's this declaration that kicks off the great tribulation,(Matt 24:15-21) and alerts believing Jews to the fact that he's not the Messiah like they thought but he's an imposter.

Then follows the end-time great tribulation events that most people are familiar with. During the final three and one-half years, the mark of the beast will be implemented and the tribulation will get even worse.

·At the end of the great tribulation, the United Nations will invade Israel. This will be the Battle of Armageddon and this is when Jesus returns and puts a stop to it all.

An "Anti-Christ" is a someone who claims to be the Messiah but who is a satanic deception. THE anti-Christ is supposed to be revealed sometime in the last 7 years before Jesus comes back, but there have been many false Christs and false prophets moved by the spirit of the anti-Christ.

Matthew 24:23 Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There he is!' do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand. 26 So, if they say to you, 'Look, he is in the wilderness,' do not go out. He was supposed to show up 2000 years ago, Paul was waiting for him and we still are. We are as much in the "end times" as we were 2000 years ago, so he probably won't be showing up anytime soon!

read revelations in the bible, a study bible helps a lot because it goes in depth to the scripture and puts it into a way that you can better understand. the anti-christ is a man who will come to power promising peace, he will have many followers; including christians who will be swayed into believing his lies. he will promise peace and sign treaties with the middle east, and there will be peace for 3 1/2 years. after those 3 years and some odd months, he will show who he really is. he is destructive, manipulative, pure evil. he knows what to say to get as many people as he can to follow him and receive the mark of the beast. (w/o this mark of the beast you will not be able to buy food, it will basically take over currency..as all currencies throughout the world will be converted to one..) many people will give in and lose their souls as a part of this. stay strong to your faith in God and know that He will return..the true Christ will return for His church.

noone knows when the antichrist will rise to power. many think(myself included) that he is already walking the earth. DO NOT LISTEN TO THOSE WHO TELL YOU THIS IS A MYTH, NOT REAL ECT ECT!! it is VERY real, you need to do some research on your own, find a bible preaching church that will help you to learn to read the scripture. for your soul's sake. people who try and tell you that the bible is useless and full of lies are that themselves, they will answer for what they have said and how they persuaded so many souls away from Christ.

the only way you can get into heaven is to be saved.. accept christ as your saviour. it is soo easy to do, and you will feel like a burden, ton of bricks have been lifted from you. it does not matter if you are a good person who does good things for others, YOU MUST BE SAVED TO GO TO HEAVEN. there is a book in the bible called romans..it instructs you on how to accept Christ. just say a prayer " Lord, i know that i am a sinner, and i know that You died on the cross for me. i ask that you come into my heart and wash away my sins.. i ask that you be my saviour. i accept Your gift of salvation (salvation is being saved)"

the nice and reassuring thing to know once you do this, is that you will not be around in the end of times to see all the scary things that the bible says is going to happen. the Lord will come back in rapture (when He returns to earth to collect His people .. the saved.. dead and alive) we will ascend into heaven with Him and will not be here when everything in revelations happens. and if for your own reason you don't accept Him as your saviour by then, you are given another..one more shall i say..chance to do so during revelations. it will be much harder, there will be so much going on and the anti-christ and his followers will hate and persecute all christians, but you must hold firm..be martyred if that be the case.. for i would rather die a horrible death here on earth then spend eternity in hell because i was too weak to stand by my faith and my Lord here on earth.

The antichrist has been working for a long time.

Martin Luther was not the first person to claim that the pope is the anti-Christ. John Wycliffe came to the same conclusion some 200 years before Luther did. Unlike Luther, Wycliffe had everything to loose and nothing to gain from proclaiming this, but he did it anyway because that is what he believed. Let us examine the facts.

What is the beast (the anti-Christ)? It is a religious power that rises out of Europe after the fall of Rome (and 3 of the tribes of the fallen empire are taken out) that acts as sovereign nation. It has much wealth and wants to change the laws of God.

"And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. “(Daniel 7:24 - 25 KJV)

The history of Europe settles the matter. There were 10 kingdoms that formed directly after the fall of Rome. After three kingdoms were taken out (the Vandals, Lombards, and Huns), the "Bishop of Rome" rose to power and formed what we now know as the Roman Catholic Church and this position is now known as the pope. With this power, the pope has changed God's times and laws. Many Christians no longer observe the Sabbath (God's time and God’s law) because the pope has instituted Sunday worship; the Roman Catechism even has a different set of Ten Commandments in it than the Bible's. It is also obvious that this kingdom represented by the little horn is different from all the others. The Vatican is a nation that has great wealth (the little horn wares an expensive crown earlier in Daniel chapter 7) but is very small (like a little horn among big ones) and is wholly ruled by a religious leader unlike any other nation in Europe today. The Vatican is a nation because the USA has an ambassador to the Vatican.

There are even more clues to point to the papal system as being the anti-Christ.

"And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast." (Revelation 13:3 KJV)

The pope was taken out of power and made prisoner (wounded) in 1798 by Napoleon. But, the pope was miraculously healed from his deadly wound in 1929, by Premier Mussolini if Italy who gave the pope all his power back!

The whole world has wondered after the pope. Just look at everyone that attended the funeral of the late John Paul II - leaders of almost every nation in the world!

Also, we find this of the anti-Christ. " And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. (Revelation 13:5 - 6 KJV)

What is blasphemy? "The act of claiming for oneself the attributes and rights of God." (American Heritage Dictionary)

Does the pope blaspheme?

"Against this background of love towards Holy Church, 'the pillar and bulwark of the truth' (1 Tim 3:15), we readily understand the devotion of Saint Francis of Assisi for 'the Lord Pope', the daughterly outspokenness of Saint Catherine of Siena towards the one whom she called 'sweet Christ on earth'" (Pope John Paul II, Apostolic Exhortation VITA CONSECRATA, (On The Consecrated Life And Its Mission In The Church And In The World), March 25, 1996.)

"The Pope is of so great dignity, and so exalted that he is not a mere man, but as it were God. and the vicar of God." (Ferraris Ecclesiastical dictionary)

"All names which in the Scriptures are applied to Christ, by virtue of which it is established that He is over the church, all the same names are applied to the Pope." (On the Authority of the Councils, book 2, chapter 17)

"The Pope and God are the same, so he has all power in Heaven and earth." (Pope Pius V, quoted in Barclay, Chapter XXVII, p. 218, "Cities Petrus Bertanous")

I would say he dose! The pope also claimes to be able to forgive sins. The bible clearly says that this is blasphamy.

"Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?" (Mark 2:7 KJV)

I think the papal system matches up with the anti-Christ too much to be a coincidence.
