A crush is only a fleeting attraction. Love is being willing to make a commitment based on geniuine affectin and deepest feelings towards the object of your love.

Love is a deep connection between two people. It goes beyond the physical, beyond all boundaries, and in the case of real love sometimes means that two spirits become wholly intertwined.
A crush is a lot like love, it shares all of the physical and emotional characteristics, but sadly cannot last forever. It can still be pretty deep, but is likely to be based on very few aspects of a person.
For example: In an online relationship, two people may come to believe that they are in love with each other, as they feel it deep within their hearts. This could well be true love, but it is far more likely to be a passing crush, as there is very little personal experience to base it on.
When a person you have never met means that much to you, it's always best to wait. Wait a long time, until you can truly be sure of your feelings.

Sort of the same kind of differences that are between love and an obsession (I just typed up the answer for that one) but a crush is generally associated with younger kids and teens who have this worship from afar thing going, with no real expectation that the crush will turn into something that will last for the rest of their lives. Like for a movie star or rock star or something.

Hard to explain once you feel both, then you will know. But you can imagine this - Make a pile of wood and set it on fire. At the beggining the fire is huge, beautiful, but it is very hot and you can't get too close. That would be the crush or passion, a feeling of wow, breath taking, etc. After some time the fire will be out and what you can see are only the red charcoal that is not as beautiful as the fire itself, but it feels very warm and comforting, a feeling like "it is so nice, warm and cozy here that I don't want to leave. " Well, sort of like it... Don't know if you can get it... I am not very good on explanations. ;-P

A crush is a fascination with someone. It might feel like love, but usually it is just lust or some sort of superficial attraction. Love, on the other hand, is deep and rich and fills you full with warmth and tenderness beyond compare.
Love evolves; a crush fades.

A crush is something that just last for a while but love can last for ever it's like always wanting to be with that person
