I'm in Maine, I do give free consultations and I have 2 different price packages to choose from or I charge $40 and hour or depending on your needs and budget I create custom packages too...I have also done events for free in exchange for use of the photos and a testimonial for advertising purposes... it definitely varies based on where you live

Price wise this depends on where you are from, however the average price ranges from $45-$85 per hour...Some give a free consult to discuss what u r looking for, others charge a small fee. Call around to find out.

Some give free consultations .. but they normally charge between 10 - 20% of your budget . If you only need help with 1 or 2 things I suggest you ask for help from family and friends , that will save you tons of money.

If you are just needig a planner for a few things, there is usually an hourly rate that varies depending on location. Whether the consultation is free or not is up to the individual planner or business you go through.

If you are using a planner for your whole wedding, the fee is typically 10-15% of your total budget.

Websites like theknot.com, weddingchannel.com and partypop.com can help you find planners in your area.

Good luck!

They will charge you anywhere from 10% to 15% of your total budget. Others might charge $1,000 or more for help with a few things. It really depends on your social status and budget though.
