Actually there are times when 'roadkill' IS served at a family function. Some travelers who hit a deer during the season are allowed to keep it.

Make sure the Venison is tender. Rednecks usually have a sign in their mouth that says, "next tooth five miles."

Absolutely it's proper. Then to gain acceptance, talk about how you found another car in the yard after you mowed. Or, tell 'em how your Uncle was the first one in the entire family to buy a new house. And you helped him take the wheels off. Be sure to use the plastic salad bowls that say Cool Whip on 'em.

Here's the perfect appetizer for the kinfolk.

ROAD KILL

1/3 shot Jameson Irish Whiskey
1/3 shot Wild Turkey
1/3 shot 151-proof Rum.

Serve as a shot.

You would be improper if you DIDN'T serve roadkill. Hell, dead meat is dead meat, 'though I gotta agree with Ms Sunshine about the skunk thing. And lemme guess...there are 10 people in your family, including you, so with wives, girlfriends and in-laws coming there will be 10 PEOPLE at this affair! Bone Appetite, Bubba.

Why no longer? there isn't any such element as proper etiquette being "no purple punch." Lighter colored punch may be greater effective in that if somebody spills slightly on themselves, it does no longer instruct as undesirable. inspite of the shown fact that, if purple is a element of a topic colour, there isn't any longer something incorrect with it. have relaxing!

Just be sure to garnish appropriately. It's always good etiquette to make a good presentation.

Well, of course. What other kind of vittles would you serve if not roadkill?
