Well if you are looking for a boyfriend that is never good. You should just let it happen because dating is a big step if you want to be with that one person only. But the first thing is that you want to attract the right guys. Please do not settle for anyone, not every guy is boyfriend material. Make sure you set standards and do not lower your standards for anyone/ you deserve to be treated the way you want to be treated. And at 19 you have time to find a nice guy.

If you are trying to get a bf then dont be shy and just become the guy you likes friend so then maybe you guys can have a relationship or at least be interested in the things he has to say and just act the way you act around your friends

How to get a botfriend huh. Well first of all you have to start small. A friend, go out with that person to places not as a date but just as friends. It will take sumtime to built the relationship.

LOL Dress up, wear make-up, and go out and meet all sorts of guys. Never stick to one type of guy, give everyone a chance, you never know who ur going to like the best until you give them a chance. And don't act desperate when you start meeting guys!
