end times nut jobs have always been, and so long as education is trumped by teaching a kid to pray before counting, ignorance will foster this forever

A big part of it is language. We can use language to manipulate, deceive, and influence people (good or bad) into an action.

So, examine "Historians". When we speak of the time from 1400-1800 we use vocabulary like "Middle Ages" or "Medieval Ages" ... both have a context that imply that we've finished with "middle" and the mind can then logically conclude that we're at the "end" or "revelation".

I wonder what history will re-write in 10,000 years ... if 1400's-1800 were "middle" ... ah ... well, I guess they jumped the gun.

Jesus will not allow the world to be completely destroyed. The world cannot end today anyway because in revelations it says that the anti christ will rule for 7 years, then the end comes after that. We will know the anti christ because he signs a treaty with Israel for 7 years and then half way through (3/12years he turns on the Jewish people)

Get a Bible...you are not making any sense at all...

Matthew:

36But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Like I said before. Bible story can be related to any thing. If Jesus is supposed to come when world is ending, I think that happened for many civilizations. Like Japan...N. weapon, people walking in fire, flesh hanging out, eyes popped out, people evaporated.
Mexican civilization...90% murdered by Europeans...They thought their world ended. I would say Bible was talking about them.
Many ruins of civilizations that we found...their end came too. So was Bible talking about them?

Such vague language written by those preists. No one can guess in million years, what the heck they were referring too.

When Jesus returns, He will return to end the wicked system currently in place on earth, He isn't coming back to end the "earth."

from what i've learned (which isn't too much yet), He'll come back at the end of the world to take all of the believers with him. what about the people left? they'll all suffer, i guess.
