My father and i have not been really close. But for the past 3 years he has stepped up. Im getting married in October and i need help finding a song for me and him. I don't want anything like daddy's little girl cause i never was that. So if anyone can help me please feel free to leave your opinion...

The movie "The Wild Thornberrys Movie" from Nickelodeon has an end credits song titled Father and Daughter by Paul Simon. (there's even a music video on the DVD features) I Highly recommend that you rent the DVD and watch the music video (it's even a pretty good family flick if you want to watch it wit your dad and/or any children in the family) It is an amazing song about a fathers love for his daughter who is starting to grow up and venture out into the world.

I Loved Her First by Tim McGraw. That is a really excellent wedding Father/Daughter song.......It is country but it is really good.
