anyone in the copperas cove, killeen , harker heights area (Tx)know of any day cares that they would recommend? this is the first time for my boys to attend a center and i want to make sure i choose a good one as well as affordable. thank you so much.

Contact your local elementary school, social service agencies, and churches to make a list of programs in your area. Then call those programs. Find out what license they have and what credentials their teachers have. Ask what schedule the children follow to make sure it allows for both structured activities and unstructured activities. Try to observe a class in progress. Then when you have selected a program, try to volunteer a little time in the classroom so that you can see firsthand what your children are experiencing.
