i just..i don't know if i should break up with my b/f...(he did something i didn't appreciate and hasn't apologized yet) people tell me to give him another chance if i still like him but i don't even know if i like him..like i kinda do and i don't wanna break his heart (because he thinks i'm breaking up with him and he was all, "i'm losing the prettiest girl in the city.")

i don't know..i'm just confused..please help me with this? should i dump him? should i give him another chance? (it's only been 8 days, sad i know but yesterday he just did something really mean to impress his friends with me)

Well, being sorry that I am about to lose the "prettiest girl in town" isn't nearly as valuable a revelation as realizing I am about to lose the heart and mind of someone whose company I value and whose insights I respect....your boyfriend has managed to say a whole lot of nothing. I don't think you're particularly confused at all. You didn't say what he did initially to upset you, but you did indicate that he hasn't apologized and it's obvious that that upsets you further. And, you mentioned some posturing behavior in front of his friends that you also found distasteful, so (absent any other redeeming qualities) what's there to be confused about?

This sounds exactly like what happened to my best friend. If you've already given him a second chance then don't let him have another. I'm guessing that what he did wasn't very good. It seems like this could turn into an abusive relationship down the road. If he was a true gentleman, he should have apologized for his wrong-doing. Conclusion: you sound like a very nice girl. I'm sure there are plenty of great guys that you will enjoy hanging out with and dating. Widen your horizon. I would dump him.

Confront him. If he just makes it worse and says something that isn't good then break it off. But if he apoligizes give him another chance. Good Luck!

Well if it was something unforgivable that he did than don't. If you feel like he will truly change for you than give him a chance.
He should tell you honestly how he feels rather than using cheesy lines like that.
