Your Card is good for at least one year from the date of first activation so long as you maintain a balance of over zero dollars. However, if your Card has a zero balance for 60 continuous days, then your Card will expire at the end of that 60 day period even if is sooner than one year. Once your Card has expired for any reason, it cannot be renewed or reloaded.

Anyone at any age can buy and use this Card. However, for those underage, a parent or legal guardian must be on the phone during the account activation process in order to accept the Cardholder Agreement on behalf of their underage child. Some merchants will ask to see the ID of the cardholder. So, it may be wise for underage users to have a student ID or other type of valid ID when using the Card.

Monthly Card Maintenance Fee -- $4.95 per month.

Your new Card will arrive in the mail at your home within five to ten days after you call to activate your new account. Cards are shipped first class U.S. Mail the next business day after activation. If you haven't received your Card or PIN within this amount of time, please call customer service immediately at toll free 1-877-434-3578.

I think I answered all your questions! Good luck!

The green dot card is a prepaid debit card. It is NOT a credit card.

The activation fee is quoted as $9.95 with a monthly $4.95 fee and a charge to add more funds.

Any bank can arrange a debit card on your account. I really dont see where this card is a benefit to anyone unless you need to limit the amount you can spend.

If you want answers from mature "peeps", then maybe you should rewrite the question so the mature people will answer it.

I've never heard of a "Green Dot Card",(I'm assuming this is like a credit card) but when you apply for the card, you should get the Terms Of Service Agreement with it that would explain all the fees, charges, etc.

It is very difficult to determine what the hell you are asking.

Check this site. http://www.walgreens.com/store/promotion/greendot/default.jsp?ban=slt_greendot

From what I saw at a glance. There isn't an age limit. There are different cards with different terms. Initial activation costs is $9.95 and subsequent reloads are $4.95. The card is mailed within a week.

You probably got all this information when you buy it.

Geez...attitude....for that you can look that up by yourself. If you want an answer from mature people (not peeps), then I suggest you start acting mature. Your almost 18 and an adult. Grow up and act mature.
