it could be allergies, with allergies you could have post nasal drip (mucus dripping down the back of your throat). constant post nasal drip can cause an itchy sore throat, a constant feeling like you need to clear your throat. if it is inflamed enough some foods (high acid or spicy food) could irritate it. as your mom about an antihistimine and see if that helps. a throat lozenger might help too.

i know that some people who have allergies have problems with there throats closing if they eat something that they are allergic 2.

yeah. i was actually having trouble breathign through my throat the other day because of allergies. it's perfectly normal.

Yikes. This sounds like an emergency. When did this start? Call your local hospital, ask for the nurses' station at any floor, ask to speak to a nurse, tell them your problem. Now.

i also think that it is just allergies. but you should go to the doctor just in case, that way you know exactly whats wrong and the doctor will recommend you a remedy...

yes i think so mabey just to the weather or if you got something new like a rug or a pet or you could be allergic to some sort of food

i had the exact same thing happen to me the other day...
i thought i had an anxiety attack, but i went to the doctors the next day and it turned out i had mono :/
i still have the same problems.
but i dont know about you.

Maybe there's too much dust in your house. I'm not 100% sure so I suggest you go see your doctor just to make sure, because you never know, it might be something serious. Go a.s.a.p!
