Yes, they will. Almost all dogs have their whiskers cut off for conformation shows, and it does not hurt them. I trimmed my Whippet's whiskers about a week ago and they are already about a third of an inch long now.

Yes..they will grow back. I have cocker spaniels and when trimming their face, you trim the whiskers. I also have a mini dachshund and I clip her whiskers too. Theirs nothing wrong with it, in fact, people who show in conformation will clip the whiskers...it gives the dog a neater look.

Yes, they will definately grow back. My mom shows her boxer and they shave off the whiskers for the show ring. It just makes them look more polished.

Yes they will grow back. My puppy chewed up a disposable razor and cut all her whiskers off and they are growing back. She very luckily didn't cut her mouth.

I trim my dog's whiskers all the time ...when they start to get long.. he begins to look like a giant mouse
