I do not sense a sincere seeker of truth. But, let us pretend you really want the truth. First, we are not hell believers. We are life believers. Truth believers. Merciful believers. What I mean to say is that we trust in the Lord for our salvation and the forgiveness of sins. Those that seek him will find him and those that repent will be forgiven. Since the fall God has sought his creation to redeem them. For our rebellion he sent his son to pay the price so that he could forgive and redeem. Those that do not repent and accept this generous offer will not receive it. Yes God is Omnipresent, but like pascal's wager he has removed himself from hell. Perhaps it is his mere absence that causes the unrepentant to suffer. God did everything on Earth so there is nothing left to do later. If he did show great mercy and allowed the unrepentant to enter heaven it would mean the death of Jesus was unnecessary and why even do it? You ask why a mere life time of sinning deserve eternal torment? I ask you the reverse what is a mere lifetime of servitude and obedience come pare to eternal bliss? If some one offered you an all expense paid trip to your perfect paradise all first class would you not accept? Sadly I cannot answer about the young who die needlessly every year. I believe that if you have not heard or have yet to reach the age of accountability God will either give a pass or judge by what one has done with that they knew in their hearts. Remember God does not send people to hell. We do by our actions demand our place.

Believing or not believing, is not the cut off. It takes more than just believing in God. The Devil and his demons believe in God and they even tremble. One must be "Born Again", to be able to enter the Kingdom. The only way to become "Born Again", is to turn from your sins and receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then God will take away your spirit and give you a new Spirit, The Holy Spirit, God Himself. It is the Holy Ghost that will save you, if you will remain obedient and faithful to Christ, the True Son of God.

The torment for those who refuse the Lordship of Jesus(Yahoshua) will be nonstop because they will be separated from God because that is exactly what they wanted.

Sorry, no breaks that have been brought to my attention.

"Starbuck's hell"
A man is sent to Hell where the Devil greets him. The devil tells him he has three choices on where to spend eternity. The man asks to see them before making his choice. So, the Devil walks him to a room with flaming fire where the people burn and regrow skin only to have it reburn. "Yickes" says the man.

On they walk to the second room where the people are being torn apart and then sewn back together while screaming. "This one's worse than the last one" Says the man to the Devil. Smirking, the Devil leads him to the last room.

Looking in the man see's a coffee house with tables and people drinking coffee. They're all quite and reading with the sound of latte's being made in the back ground. The only discomfort appears to be a foot or so of coffee like stuff they're sitting in.

The man confidently says, "I want door #3" ... and the Devil checks his list and throws him into the room. 5 minutes later a siren comes out a voice says, 'breaks over ... back on your heads" ... turns out this room is to eat all the poop of the people in hell.

I've been told by several followers of that loving god that it will be continual torture for all eternity.

And that we asked for it.
