You're talking about a man that hasn't even announced publicly that he'll run for president but indicates that he will announce sometime later this month.
What can you do?
Nothing really. Join him, ignore his support of the man, or try engaging him in a conversation and learn why he's such a fan. You might be pleasantly surprised that good old dad has some good thoughts. Also consider that your dad is a front-runner and not just a follower.
Many people have supported presidential candidates. Just look at the bumper stickers with Kerry on them from 2004. There's nothing wrong with being a part of the process even when you're a tad early. :)
