Even 20-25 would be a lot, but it depends on how many friends & family the bride has!
Average can be 12 - 15, I'd say....some more, some less.
I dunno if there *can* be an average.

It really depends on how large your family is. A friend of mine had 90 people at her bridal shower simply because she has a very large family. I think there were about 50 or so at my shower and I have been to showers as small as 10-15 people too.

Now if your question is out of all the people you invited how many attended, there will always be a small percentage of people that can not attend. I'm nto really sure of the exact percentage but I'd say somewhere around 10%...just a guess.

Depends on the number invited. I would think most would attend. If you are afraid of it getting too big for the accommodations, you could split your family from friends and have 2 or 1 bridal shower and 1 bachelorette party.

Been to lots - usually for a home bridal shower, 15 to 20 ladies.

Depends on how big the family is? I would say anywhere between 20-30 people. Some have more than 1 shower.

A bridal shower is usual held for people who have not been invited to wedding, so they can give gifts and spend time with the bride (this is not necessarily the norm though). I reckon 12 to 15 but if the person holding the shower doesn't mind having more people then maybe 20. Ofcourse it also depends on how many friends the bride has and whether it is a bridal shower for girls only or both men and women are invited (which is becoming more acceptable these days).

20-50 is the average size of a shower I've attended. My shower will be about 50 because my fiance & I both have alot of women in our extended families and we're both very close with them--we regularly dine with our cousins, take vacations together, etc...
