You can claim exempt or more dependents (get a new W4 from your employer and read it over throughly. You can claim;
1 for yourself
1 for single job
1 for the child
1 for head of household
1 if have child care
and if you make less than $57,000 claim 2 more- a total of 7 dependents.

The IRS has a calculator on their website that will help you determine how many dependents to declare such that come April you owe nothing and get back nothing (within about 100 bucks).

You should be filing head of household, and that will get you the best deduction for your filing status if you don't own a home. If you pay daycare expenses you should be eligible for some credits.

If you will get it ALL back, and had no tax liability last year either, you could claim exempt. They will still take out social security and medicare, but not income tax.
