If there were no god witch could be possible. People live life to have fun and to see what happands next. Most people would do exactly what they are doing right now. But if you ask me if people knew for sure there was no god there would be some kinda chaos like stealing and rape everywere people killing each other because they think when they die they die.

Purpose addresses questions such as "why was I put here on earth" and "what am I meant to do here". Purpose, by the very definition, requires a God.
“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell (20th century philosopher, mathematician and Nobel Laureate)
You say God doesn't exist, but how do you know that? You are betting your entire life that He doesn't exist but without evidence. You say that life is good. Isn't it at all possible that you reject God, not on the grounds of some evidence that He doesn't exist, but on the grounds that He will interfere with you in how you want to live your life? If God exists, and we admit it, we can no longer be masters of our own fate and captains of our soul.
It is very difficult to fully face a pointless, meaningless existence. Distraction/busyness becomes happiness. Anything to keep us from thinking about the pointlessness. Focus on the good feelings we get on occasion and keep busy. For failure to defend against nihilism is catastrophic:
There is but one truly serious philosophical problem, and that is suicide. Judging whether life is or is not worth living amounts to answering the fundamental question of philosophy." -- Albert Camus

So the only point of life is to get into heaven?
That is so pathetically sad. Seriously. I feel bad for people who think life is somehow pointless without a god to pray to or worship or spend eternity with.
We get one life, the one we are living right now, and the point is to LIVE it.

Why is it necessary for a god in the sky to give us purpose. We are intelligent (commercial television notwithstanding). Let's think -
1. I am alive, it is temporary.
2. I want to have fun, to enjoy myself, to explore, to learn, to see, to do.
3. I have a family, children, spouse, parents and others. I want to take care of them.
4. I have friends. I want to enjoy their company and do what I can to help them.
5. I live in a world that has a lot of pain and suffering. I would like to do whatever I can to help other people have better lives.
6. I would like to leave the world a better place then when I found it.
That seems like a lot of non-god-given purpose and meaning to me?!?!?!

Why do you believe that life without God is pointless? What is pointless about life?

I am disappointed in you. There is no 'reason' for life. You have it. That is it.
It is up to you to fill it and live it in a satisfying way or not. To give yourself a 'point'. The fact is that it is up to you, those who cannot handle that fact are the ones who turn to fantasies and gods.
The cliche is horribly true, life really is what YOU make it.

Where does it say that things have to have a "point" to be enjoyable or worthwhile? Boggle is pointless, but people enjoy it anyway. So carry on!

its as easy as this: the purpose of life is to live.
and whoever asked you that question is very close-minded. there are many religions out there that don't believe in god that explain the answer to that question

You contradict yourself, because for you, the point to life is having a good time. Seems worthwhile to me, BTW.
