I mean short of all people being perfect clones of each other with absolutely NO differences about which to fight.... under which circumstances there would need to be only one gender and humanity would promptly go extinct.

... Just why do people go wishing for world peace when there is absolutely nothing in the entire world that people will NOT fight about?

Couldn't they just win that someone would hurry up and win the wars quickly to avoid larger casualty-counts?

Not while there are still psychotic, naked monkeys throwing bangers at each other.

Then again, wouldn't peace mean I wouldn't be able to eat worms any more? What would I eat then... hmm?
Peace sounds like a stupid idea.

Here is an answer I gave on a question of 9/11 conspiracy (please note the last paragraph):

"THEORY 1: 19 Islamist conspirators planned their attack thru the Internet. At the time, passengers and personnel on commercial aircraft were instructed to be passive like sheep towards hijackers (after all according to the stupid bureacratists, one should always depend on so-called "professionals" for their personal defense, even if they are not available. Good thing the passengers on 93 realized that they individually are responsible for their defense and others, too bad they died stopping the Islamists). Noting this, the muslim conspirators realized they only needed minimal improvised weaponry (box-cutters) to seize control of aircraft. So they did. They then used the aircraft (737's mostly) as cruise missiles. The impact weakened the WTC structures, the burning fuel heated the steel and weakened the metal until the weight of the floors above exceeded the weakened steel's strength. Thus the destruction of the World Trade Center and damage to the Pentagon building.

THEORY 2: The government along with some shadowy group (insert any if you like, ex: RAND corp, Illuminati, Mossad, The Greys, etc.). Explosives were planted throughout the World Trade Center by hundreds of government conspirators. Since no real passenger airplanes were involved (a cruise missile hit the Pentagon, there is no flight 93) the government conspirators also included thousands of people consisting of the almost 800 "missing passengers" and thousands of family members of the "passengers". The hundreds or thousands of "witnesses" that say the same story of two passenger planes hitting the World Trade Center were also part of the secret plan.

What makes THEORY 2 less reliable?

It is impossible for the Human Ape to form a tight group of trusting members (such as a conspiracy group) that numbers greater than 150 people (Dunbar's Number). This was experimentally proven thru studies of the Human Ape groups, the Chimpanzee Ape groups, Gorilla Ape groups and several species of monkey groups. The Dunbar's Number is proportional to monkey and ape brain size. Not surprisingly, Homo sapiens' Dunbar Number is the largest. THEORY 1 has 19 conspirators (<150 people), THEORY 2 has thousands of conspirators (>150 people). Although there are gaps in data regarding THEORY 1, they are not sufficient to completely falsify that theory. Dunbar's Number completely falsifies THEORY 2. This is not the only glaring gap for THEORY 2. It is impossible for the Human Brain to establish conspiracies larger than 150 people, it simply doesn't have enough brain power.

THEORY 1 best fits the data while also being simpler than THEORY 2.

So what could be the psychological reason to believe THEORY 2? My guess is that the believers want to believe in an Omnipotent Nation-State. Even if there is a bad leader at the top, there is still order and things are in easily explainable catagories. And after all, one can always replace a bad Head-of-State with a good one that can use the power of Almighty Government to do good in an orderly fashion. But if 19 individuals super-empowered by de-centralized information technology defeated a Nation-State's defenses, then the implication is that the State is not always in control. It means CHAOS!
The technological trends are toward more powerful private networks of small groups(<150) and individuals compared to that of the Nation-States' Enforcers. Existing examples: Internet, cell-phone detonated IED's, etc. Emerging examples: de-centralized manufacturing(Fab Labs), small homemade nanoweapons, homemade microbial weapons, and other personal superweapons. If this trend continues in the Twenty-First Century, large Nation-States (particularly, heterogenous States) will gradually become ungovernable. Polities will shrink in the numbers of their members until the micro-state size begins to approach Dunbar's Number. No World State and no World Peace for the foreseeable future! "

Conclusion: The only possible World Peace is if the entire Earth's Crust was sterilized free of life or converted completely into computronium for a single Global AI Brain. You cannot get World Peace with separate competing organisms (whether the organisms have brains or not). You'll just have larger organisms devouring smaller organisms. The human ape (Homo sapiens) is no exception.

The Bible tells us it will happen. The meek will inherit the earth and find EXQUISITE delight in the abundance of peace. (Ps. 37:10-11) Revelations and common sense tells us much change will need to occur between now and then. We pray for God's Kingdom to rule earth in the Model Prayer Jesus gave us. That is how this will happen.

Wicked government systems, religious systems and people will be destroyed. The bad must be cut out for the good to survive. Earth will return to the original purpose God intended. Perfect humans to live forever on a paradise earth.

It can be seen now in Jehovah's people. Some 7 million with other millions interested ones, practicing peace with one another. We do not participate in the worlds wars between each other. Catholics fight Catholics, Protestants fight Protestants on both sides. We do not. In both our congregations and larger assemblies, there is no need for Police and all races and groups are represented. This is in keeping with Bible instructions.

Galatians 5:22-24 listing among the fruitages of the spirit, peace and long-suffering. Philippians 1:8-9 saying love will abound as we acquire accurate knowledge and full discernment. 1John 4:20-21 puts it more forcefully. If we say "We love God" but hate our brother, the love of God is not in us. Ch. 5:3 show what that love of God means keeping God's commandments including love of each other.

All this is part of what the "good news of God's Kingdom" is: World peace.

I think that some people want to just wish and believe in the better half of humanity. That we can all work things out and sing Kumbaya or whatever.

However, it is not likely to happen. Sort of the same way that Communism will never work. War is a part of human nature because there will always stuff to disagree over (who owns what land, religion, money, etc). Therefore as long as people continue to disagree over things world peace will never exist. And as long as their are people who will stop at nothing to gain power there will always be war.

It isnt about being perfect. Its about being, well, peaceful. World peace means having no wars, no more poor people, and no moor hunger. It doesnt mean their will ever be NO evil and no hate. But it would mean the countries all getting along, everyone working together for a better tommorrow.
Not that it is likely to happen...

2304 Respect for and development of human life require peace. Peace is not merely the absence of war, and it is not limited to maintaining a balance of powers between adversaries. Peace cannot be attained on earth without safeguarding the goods of persons, free communication among men, respect for the dignity of persons and peoples, and the assiduous practice of fraternity. Peace is "the tranquillity of order." Peace is the work of justice and the effect of charity.

Two things, First, war has to happen in order for the world to go on. Two war is all part of God's plan, everything hapening in this world is all part of Gods plan, and it is leading us to the end of the world, and the start of eternal peace. True peace will only come when He comes for us!!

i think that the answer to world peace is people working together like if a meteor strikes and blows up an area people will have to work together and help each other out. i think the import/export industry is a big part of peace between countries.

yeah...
and think about what life would be like if there was no war and everybody got along and there were no acts of homicide, or suicide
..overpopulation.
no one would be dying (besides like of normal causes)
and there would be more people being born, than dying. and it would just get way to overpopulated.
and there wouldnt be enough food, and we would begin fighting over food.
so yeah, its pretty much impossible to have "world peace."
as sad as that may sound, its true.

I don't know. I think it is ignorant to say we should just stop hating eachother and la di da everything will be fine just like that. But I think as the world gets smaller and people start understanding one another's cultures and whatnot, I think, and hope, that we'll have less and less to fight about as time goes by.
