A "fundamentalist christian" - One that takes the entire bible to be literally true, no other literary techniques at all. Typically a devotee to the King James Version. They generally are very judgmental and closed minded.

The other part of fundamental, as in fundamentalist. It's rude to call them mental, so people use "fundie" instead.

It's a derogatory term for a fundamentalist; a Christian who believes in following the Bible and the Bible only, and they believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of the Living God.
This term is usually used by those who have been influenced by worldly interests, pseudoscience and apostasy.

People who believe every word in the Bible is literally true...for instance,,,if you believe that Jonah was in that whale for three days and spit upon the ground alive...you are a fundamentalist....or that Samson brought down the house...or that God sent a flood...
That would be me....I believe it...If God said he did it,,he did it.....I don't have to explain it to anyone...
