It was King Jehoash. He was kept in hiding during the previous king's massacre. At seven he was crowned as king and the previous throne's queen, Athaliah, started yelling "treason! treason!" the guards came and took her out and killed her.

That sounds like Joash. His grandmother was Athaliah, the wicked queen, who had all the royal family killed, because she wanted to retain the throne. Samuel, the high priest, hid Joash and raised him in the Temple. When the boy came of age (about 7 or 8), Samuel presented him to the people and crowned him as king. When the queen heard of this, she became outraged, but Samuel had the guards take her outside and execute her.

Joash. His grandmother tried to kill all male heirs to the crown, but Joash was hidden away by the priests. When he turned 7, they decided it was time to crown him king. They did so and his grandmother (athaliah) yelled treason, but she was killed. Joash was obedient to the Lord while the high priest he grew up with was alive, but when the priest died, Joash turned away and I believe ended up having the priests son(s) killed. Joash was later assassinated.

UPDATE: Joash and Josiah were different kings, though they both were crowned as children.
