We are free. We are multidimensional. Many are afraid of what is undefined. They require structure, neatly tied packages of their black & white concepts. They believe "God" must be an isolated being, who creates at arm's length, from some outside substance that he dug up somewhere, perhaps from a bottle in an old cupboard...then decides his creations are "wicked", as if he has no control over such things...but this idea is slowly dying, as more people come to realize there is so much more to us, and it need not necessarally be defined...certainly not in such childish one-dimensional terms.
In our terms, even those no longer in physical reality "have" ego; they still need to develop, learn what they are, as their old beliefs drop away like falling leaves. As long as we remember the barriers are of our own construction, are there because we still find it very hard to function without some sense of form, we can more freely express our freedom, as our "new" abilities are unwrapped on this eternal morning.
Maybe I get a little poetic, but that's me. Our existence requires nothing. We already are everything. We are one Self, dreaming he is many...every living thing, every rock, every cell, every blade of grass, and the eternal formlessness that created and creates it all.
The idea that we cannot have good without evil is erroneous. This is not balance, but chaos, the seat of ego's calamity. It is part of our clinging to form, to opposite, and calling it balance. Nothing opposes good; nothing opposes God; therefore nothing opposes us. We are by-God free. Let us no longer bind our beautiful truth with concepts that limit our reception of that truth.

This is the code that I live by. Nothing stationary. All is move-able.
Bend the circumstances, don't be run by them. Belief creates circumstances. Change the belief about something, you've freed yourself.
The task of freedom always resides in your choices. To stay in the un-described territory. If a situation arises where you see the parameters, barriers, and walls. Break. It. Down. Sometimes it's best to leave the words unsaid, but not unknown, and just move into a place of no boundaries. A new territory. In action, (take that duality) rather than re-action.
There are tons of ways to live the existence that you describe.

I agree partially, but differ in a few particulars.
For our nearest animal ancestors, the unknown was dangerous, potentially life-taking. It's an attitude that we have yet to overcome.
Worse yet, violence tends to be our first reaction to fear. This mat remove the threat to the violent one, but it causes more fear in those who witness such a reaction, which then spawns more violence, and reinforces the fear of the unknown. We have created a culture that is always on the defensive, and increasingly violent about it.
"Where there is love, there can be no fear."
It is going to take a conscious effort by a majority to change our behavior. Which is going to require an actual goal. Love is indeed the solution; but it must be concretely directed toward each other, rather than to a nebulous, undefined "cosmos." That comes later in our spiritual evolution.

Your question is ridiculously loaded. I lean left in ideology and politically, but your question is heavily biased and you've pretty much answered it yourself. People have their own beliefs and ideologies. You obviously side with the "Left". But what makes you right and a person who leans "Right" wrong? Your question is asking why people don't change their ideologies. And the answer is simple. If we start changing what we truly believe in because the present political climate, then we've lost control of who we are as individuals and have subjected ourselves to the prejudices and biased information of the media and propaganda of the lobbyists. Then you're nothing but a brainwashed society who can't think for themselves, but rather just "goes with the flow".

**dripping out a spot for Chameleon to catch on his tongue as he darts it in my direction . . . **
When we have one thing undefined, its counterpart, its balance, cannot be defined or experienced, so we miss out on a piece of the Universe. To wit:
If we did not define evil, we would never experience good.
If we did not experience light, we would never be able to define darkness.
If we did not define yin, yang would not have a Presence.
Half-formed is equivalent to no knowledge, and knowledge is the primary key to success in all that we do.
Our existence requires this definition for its very balance. And while we can do our best to undo existing definition, we still must then redefine one to have the other.
Labels we can do without. Definition is a requirement.

Why? Because they have no idea what potential it might have.
The goal is always receding the more you know the more you realise how much is unknown. So never worry about defining anything you learn to understand.

hahahahaha I love it !!!
your undefined question first answerer made your point, from one perspective......
There is an attitude, a position that holds that to remain steadfast in any definition, any answer, is to deny all further truths, all further awareness. To live in the recognition that all is ephemeral, transitory, gives the awareness of the preciousness of this very moment.
It will never come again.
in flow, we all mingle and merge and dance and share, what could be more delightful than that indeed.

If you mean undefined as 'not knowing the answer', then I have no problem with this.
If you mean undefined as 'not having a purpose', again I have no problem with this.
If you mean something else, please expand and I will try to answer.

Things are just easier to understand if they have confines, and infinite options really boggle the human mind to the fullest limits of discomfort.
