I have a Sennheiser wireless lavalier set. Is it possible to buy another mic? I'm planning on doing interviews with as many as two or three people at a time. Can I buy another mic (or two) and set it to the same frequency?

You will not want to use the same frequencies as these would interfere with each other. Other than that using multiple mics is not a problem.

1. no you can't use the same frequency, each wireless set must work on its own channel. in the old days the receivers had to be separated by several feet or they would interfer with each other as well, but i think newer gear is more tolorant of co-placement.
2. using two is easy enough as the camcorder should have two tracks (stereo) for mic input. using 3 requires a mixer. some wireless sets are available in a 2 mic/stereo configuration which might be the most compact arrangement if it is to be mounted on the camcorder.
3. battery management becomes an issue if you have three mics, three receivers and a mixer, all requiring battery power.

If you are going to buy another set use them in different frequencies. Also, is better to have a mixer to separate the audio.
We have two microphone sets from the same brand, although we never use them with the same frequency at the same time, we don't know what could happens.
