I know some companies like grocery stores, and all those companies hire 14 year olds, I want to know if airlines will hire a 14 year old. I know some airlines hire people who work at home, and I could work on the weekends, summer, and after school. I am good at customer service, and I type about 60-70 words a minute, and I love to read and reply to e-mails.

I would like to do customer service by replying to e-mails, because I am very friendly I send airlines e-mails at least once a week, and I know the proper way to set up, and respond to an e-mail. So would they hire me for that position?

To answer your question: NO. (like all other responders)
16 yrs old is the legal limit, with usually school authorization.
Most airlines say you must be 18 and have a high school diploma, they really prefer some people who have some college education or have graduated from college.
They also have to learn the jargon of the industry and codes. Also a second language will help you drastically (higher paying job)
Just hang on, go get a good education and then apply for a job at any airlines.

No. Minimum for full time ground positions is 18, flight crew is 21. Some airlines do hire temporary part time positions for the summer and holiday periods, but you would have to be at least 16. Not much available in the working world for a 14 year old...

No, most likely not. What you describe would either be in a call center or reservations center and most airlines require you to be at least 18 years of age.

No sorry, they don't.

You have to be 18+ because of legal liabilities, and child labor laws.

Hang in there.

umm i highly doubt that they would let a 14 yr old work but i suggest u get a job at a grocery store or something like that... u will have a higher chance of getting the job.. but you should ask on the web or give them a call.. GOOD LUCK!

No darling..... I think the legal minimum working age is 16. They don't want to be sued for child labour...
