I think I am. I asked a lighthearted question about Fudge chocolate bars and someone answered "What?????Who cares, do you care?" which I thought was rude and unnecessary. I've looked over the answerers profile and they appear to have answered other lighthearted questions without being rude, so why did they do it to me? But more importantly, why do I let it get to me?!?!? Take a deep breath Rachael.

See, now Silent Movie hasn't offended me because they appear to give cheeky answers to most of the questions, but the individual I'm referring to doesn't. If I knew how to blow a raspberry in writing that's exactly what I'd do to that person.

Just to prove a point, Silent Movie has added an answer to the fudge question which made me laugh my bottom off.

An innocent question obtaining an unnecessary rude answer always offends and rightly so. What did the answerer gain from it? They upset you. I don't know what the question was but I'm trying to lose a lot of weight, but if you have some fudge to spare I will take it off your hands. Very reluctantly of course as a favour, please PLease PLEA SE OK PRETTY PLEASE

Yahoo! Answers is a fabulous site for sharing knowledge, but as some of your previous answers to this question have said, people do tend to take their bad mood out on others by posting nasty and spiteful answers. I've had it done to me and, I know how it feels. But, I have received some genuine and pleasant answers back.
Take no notice of the weirdos on here. There's never ever any need to be nasty. To anyone, at any time, in any place. I can see that you've had some good answers to this question. Most people on Yahoo! Answers are very genuine and kind-hearted towards others.
Hope we see you around n this site a lot in the future! Take care, Rachael!

Seek professional help. Now. Yes, you are way too sensitive. Undoubtably, lots of people will answer this question by telling you that the person that offended you was in the wrong. And, they were. But, lady...come on...this is an open forum, filled with people from all walks of life. That means the the smart-aleck 16 y/o boy is on here, the perv sitting naked in front of his computer is on, the 12 y/o girl pretending to be an adult is on.....of course you are not always going to recieve a sincere reply.
"Take a deeep breath Rachael."
Please. Spare me. Get over it. Toughen up. People are out there getting shot, stabbed, raped, abused and robbed every day. I think you can carry the burden of dealing with an anonymous, rude answer.

The thing I would say is take it as a compliment. They obviously felt that your question merited a different approach to their normal way of answering! Maybe you caught them on an 'off' day? Maybe they don't like fudge chocolate bars? Maybe they fancy you and are unable to adequately convey their feelings? Take your pick!
*Edit* You definately took it to seriously, because the person who answered your question does have a habit of giving short, rather flipant answers!

Who knows why they answered the way they did, maybe they were just in a bad mood. Don't take it personally, honestly there's a lot of people out here who LOVE fudge bars!

A "raspberry" in typing goes like this:
:P~~~~~~~~
Got it? Have fun with it!
Hey, don't let it get to you. Sometimes a "humorous" answer just hits me, and I've gotta use it! It's rare that I'm rude, but usually it's due to being "provoked." Yeah, I know Miss Manners frowns upon being rude back to someone being rude to you, but we're human!
Hey, we've go hormones and moods, and sometimes you can catch us in a light-hearted mood or a dark one. Hopefully we get the good mood more than the other.
Have a great day!

awww that's so sweet. i want to give you a cuddle now! Anyway. They're idiots, totally ignore them - they've been taught no manners! I'd like to see some Yahoo answerers in person and see if it really is "all mouth and no action" with some fools!

Don't listen to anything Bruce J says! He's an idiot. Yeah sure maybe this isn't the place to justify why he's an idiot (being that its about 1 user that ruined someone else) but I don't care! He says I disgust him. For that I'm callin him out, telling him to be a man and to fight me. Yes Bruce J that's right. You, me physical fight anytime, anywhere. Its so on.

Every site like this have what are commonly known as "TROLLS". Trolls are people who very rarley contribute anything worth while, but instead post one worded answers, and make pointless comments. They piss me off too, your not alone, lol
