Well, it wasn't really the donkey talking (as shown in the bible) but an angel. And I believe that you Thought a donkey talked to you, no argument there. The time for miracles ended with the last apostle.

You silly boy you. The Bible says that it's the word of God. Now, if a book claims to be the word of God, how can you doubt it? I mean, it wouldn't say so if it wasn't true ... right? And by the way, I have a once-in-a-lifetime offer for those who do NOT own a piece of the Brooklyn Bridge ... contact me & I'll fill you in ..... honest!

In defense of christians, it doesn't logically follow that they should believe you merely because you claim that something from the bible happened to you. One always has to consider the source. Presumably, the religious figures from their bible are more credible sources to them than you, some unknown guy on the internet.

Even in science, people make outlandish claims. People post claims here that they have invented fusion, or have discovered ways to travel faster than light. It is easy for me to discredit these claims because of what I know, and because of the context in which these claims are made.

If I myself had laid eyes on this biblical talking donkey (assuming that there is one mentioned in the bible), I would not believe your claim.

@ In response to your question directed at me, I am not christian - - I will leave it to the christians to explain why their bible is more credible to them than you are. My point is that the context of your claim makes it inherently not-credible, the context being a hypothetical question posed on R&S. The source of your claim makes it not-credible, the source being an anonymous person on the internet. If you were a well known person of established importance, your claim would be substantially more credible.

I believe you, provided that what you saw was written down in a book that is 2,000 years old and my parents have told me it's true.

Of course he did, just like the snake talked to Eve in the garden. Where is your faith?
