Like, me and one of my guy friends were supposed to hang out today but there was a last minute doctors appiontment. I went to that and was planning to go to his house after that, but my mom wanted to go to lunch, so we did. now, we couldnt hang out because of that and he wants me to make an offer to him to make up for it. I tried to say that we could hang out again, but supposenly that isnt enough. What should my offer be?

offer to move on to a different guy who doesn't expect offers. This guy sounds like trouble.

Come up with an idea that he does not have to think about and take him. I.e. -- take him to the movies and pay. Take him to dinner and pay. Tell him you are coming over to his house with a surprise, and bring him a DVD movie for the two of you to watch and an ice cream cupcake with the words "I'm sorry" written on it in icing and then put your best pouty face on....
He's just playfully asking for you to do something to make up for canceling on him today. It's probably a sign that he's interested in you as a girlfriend.
