When i take it out for about 5 hours or more, it starts to close. How can i make it heal!!!!?!

when u take it out it will start 2 close right away! 5 hrs, i think it would b closed up! im not sure what u mean by make it heal? r u wanting it 2 close up?

It will always start to close. The only way to make it so that it never closes is to develop scar tissue. I have 3 my ears and belly my belly will close if I take my peircing out but my ears will never close because I had them peirced then they started to close when I was little but I wanted to wear earings so my aunt shoved a neddle in my ear an I developed scar tissue around the hole. So the Dr said that those will never close. Trust me it is a good thing that it closes eventually you will probably not want it or when you get pregnant you will want it to close so it does not stretch too much

I don't understand... it wont heal or it wont close? If it wont heal then go see your doctor, use Dial soap and rinse really well, then put some sea salt in a cup with warm water and hold it up to your belly button. Do that 3 times a day. And keep it dry, do NOT touch it with your hands unless you've washed them. If you want it to close, then leave the piercing out forever until it closes.

it usually takes about a year to heal, but if you keep taking it out in between this will continue happening...but be happy in a sense that it actually closes, because a friend of mine had the complete opposite happen to her...her body rejected the metal, one day we were out at the beach and I noticed that her piercing was way lose, it turns out that by the end of the day we were standing up next to the car changing to leave and her barbell just fell to the floor. Her skin had split into 2 separate pieces letting the barbell lose...
I believe that your body is telling you something, listen to it...before its too late

i had mine done about 4 years ago, it never healed properly,went docs for cream etc, got pregnant last year,took the bar out and let it heal up,has now left a red scar,a mess actually.

mine did the same thing until I put 14k yellow gold jewelry in it. completely healed in 2 weeks after I took out the stainless steel

You mite just want to take it out....that means that your body is not getting use to it and it rejecting the peircing.

umm... well there's a problem. go to the place where you got it pierced and ask them. surely they have had cases like that before. if not, then just ask them the best solution. or judt close it up and get it repierced later.
