Christians, why do you all get angry about Atheism?
I say it is because you are in misery. And you all need to take it out on Atheists. Hence, misery lives in company.

I'm not an Atheist, but I think I've got it figured out why they SEEM to get angry when dealing with christians... Each believes in something totally different.... Christians believe in God and the bible and the 10 commandments and Atheists DO NOT. A LOT of christians (NOT ALL OF THEM) take pleasure in cramming THEIR religion down everyone's throats---or lets say they feel it is their duty to TRY to change the minds of the NON-believers--- and vice versa I might add.... thing is, what they should be doing is just respecting each other for being INDIVIDUALS and having opinions and NOT trying to say each other is WRONG in their beliefs... You see, a belief is only an OPINIION and an opinion in itself is NOT a fact.. so therefore it can neither be right NOR wrong... so, christians are not wrong unto THEMSELVES and Atheists are not wrong unto THEMSELVES.. it's when the two clash together that they BOTH become wrong because tearing down and bashing one another's differing beliefs is NEVER right...We are all ENTITLED to our own beliefs and THAT is what a FEW christians AND atheists do NOT understand---I DO have to say, it is MOSTLY the Christians who degrade and ridicule the atheists but I HAVE also seen some pretty sad commentary coming from atheists as well. You BOTH should understand that you aren't going to change each others way of thinking---NEITHER of you is wrong OR right---... I wish you could all call it a draw and just learn to live with each other in PEACE and harmony and understand you have differences and RESPECT those differences... they don't make you any more OR less of a human being....

The real misery is living in fear of hell if you break any of the 10 rules in a book written 2000 years ago.... believing you are worthless from the day you are born unless this jesus guy decides you are worthy of being "saved" .... misery is seeing people out there who don't ascribe to these pathetic ideas enjoying life, being successful, and wondering why they don't fear and quake like you do.

We only get angry about it when it's shoved down our throats. You'd feel the same way about islam if you lived in iran.
And as for misery, I'm very happy, especially compared to my christian friends. They seem so stressed all the time.
We also get angry because of questions like yours. You'd get angry if I asked "Christians, why do you all think you're better than everyone else?" or something.

I'm no more angry about christianity than I am about any of the other thousands of religions. Belief structures exist. Why should that make me angry?
I'm more likely to be angered by the followers of those religions, and only when they try to legislate their beliefs so that my life is effected by them, as well. Or when they repeatedly try to convert me. I'm taken aback by their arrogance.
By the way, I'm actually quite content with my life. Therefore, I don't go looking for imaginary beings to make things all better.

I don't get angry about Christianity. I don't care about it--it hasn't really affected me.
I'm not miserable. Misery would take caring, and I don't really care.
I also don't like company. I'd rather people leave me alone and let me do my own thing.
It'd be nice if you'd quit generalizing. :)

Actually, I'm very happy. It comes with being a responsible, emotionally well-grounded individual.
And I'm only angry at Christianity when the Christians try to tell me how to live my life.
