First, calm down. I am not calling you terrorists. Here's what I am thinking about. The U.S. was attacked on Sept 11, 2001. Thousands of innocent people lost their lives. I'm just establishing facts at this point.
Now, since we seek justice, how should we do this? We've already taken action and have been thoroughly criticised for it. What would have been a better idea? Who should have been the target(s) for our counter attack(s)? What should we have done in reaction to the attacks on 9/11 which caused thousands of Americans to die, thousands more to lose family members, many more to be injured, and yet more still to lose their jobs?

For those who say to ask bin Laden, I have already read his letter to the American people. His attitude is pretty much all Americans must convert to Islam or expect future attacks similar to 9/11 and worse. He is not really expecting counter attacks -only submission through fear.

Okay I have received many opinions from nonmuslims and Muslims. Only one so far actually attempted to answer my question. She said we shoudl find out who dunnit and go get 'em. Well, we found out that things like this are done by terrorists. We went out and got many of them. And while we were out catching terrorists, Saddam Hussein jumped into the spotlight by refusing to comply with the checks for nukes that all countries with nukes (including the USA) comply with. Good ol' boy W Bush saw Saddam and recalled the fact that Saddam had killed thousands of his own (Iraqi) people. Bush then had Saddam captured and tried in court for the 1982 killing of 148 Shiites in the city of Dujail. With Saddam out of power, Iraq became chaotic with several groups trying to take over. Bush sent troops to help fight against the gangsters (that's what they are) with hopes of helping the peaceful group establish and maintain order. That is how we ended up in Iraq (the short version of course)

Non Muslim speaking
1.We should have stayed in Afganistan until we found Osama Bin Laden. Osama bin laden is like a hugh public figure among muslims all over the world. Finding him would have been a big blow to the fundamentalists. Also we should have paid more attention on finding all the sleeper cells, this could have avoided the london and madrid bombings.
2."Saddam Hussein jumped into the spotlight by refusing
to comply with the checks for nukes that all countries
with nukes (including the USA) comply with Saddam
Hussein jumped into the spotlight by refusing to comply

(including the USA) comply with"
Wrong info you got there buddy.Saddam hussien allowed UN inspectors to go into iraq and he complied. The UN inspectors found no nukes, Becuase there weren't any NUKES. But our CIA kept insisting he had nukes so Bush attacked Iraq and then we found out Saddam actually never had nukes. And now we have Iraqis killing each other in presence of the US. What do you think a kid who lost his father and mother would do? He is going to think Big Bold America did it. Now the sad part is Muslims firmly believe in self defense and retaliation to the damage already done. Also Muslims all over the world arab, black, asians etc etcshare a common bond (sisterhood, brotherhood) and they will never align with American foreign policies and they will always be ranting how Americans have messed muslims in iraq and then there will be their son who has been listening to his parents stories all his life and will think something has to be done about it, then he would decide to be fundamentalist and do some crazy stuff with rest of his crazy friends something like the london bombing. And then again America will bomb some other middle east country and vicious cycle will continue. Also in the mean time Muslims in the west will feel marginalized again and they will take revenge.Do you get the big picture. You can't fight fire with fire you need cold water to extinguish the fire.
3. I have a solution first of all we need to stop muslim immigration at least Muslim from the war zones because they are carrying a huge emotional baggage already and you never know when they will react. Keep a constant eye on what imams are preaching to Muslim citizens in America. From what I have heard, from some person's yahoo answers(username: mariamadrid79) is that more white American women are converting to Islam. I really hope these women can tame this religion and make it more secular looking and keep a constant eye on their kids.
What do you think? We badly need Peace, I don't want to my kids to live in a scary world.

u said what?... 2001
now we r in 2007 & every day there is Sept 11 here in our counteries
u said what?... thousands dead & thousands lost families...
was it a volcano or just 2 towers?!! i dont believe even they r thousands, while u r killing millions even before Sept 11 (i remember about at least 2 millions of Iraqi babies killed IN PEACE BY LACK OF MILK, after ur decision OIL for FOOD (thank u for this, huh!) absolutely u r innocent, although i remember no cause for initially attacking iraq before Sept 11, or even after it (u accused afghanistan, not iraq... yet i doubt that primitive afghanistan itself could have such technology for this action)
u said what?... why?
this issue have been thoroughly discussed since that mentioned day, we objected on such action, which was not enough for u, till even we shared u in war on our muslim innocent neighbours whom u accused without evidence. such a thing i strongly object upon
peace
EDIT: u said what?... all countries with nukes (including the USA) comply with!
check ur information. Israel did not even give a signature on the law, while israel is in the hot area of the middle east & threaten her neighbours continuously.
also u found no nukes after invasion of Iraq which was a shame. if there had been any of them, this so-called monster Saddam Hussein would have used them... All was shown to b fake
i even doubt that overwhelming USA lack such nukes. mayb it has not used them yet, but at least it has them.
u said what?... Bush then had Saddam captured and tried in court
it was not an honest court, & even its date without reason was choosed in the feast day in iraq!

Isn't Iraq a completely separate issue from 9/11? Everyone seems to think by bombing Iraq we're somehow getting vengeance from the Twin Towers. Bush even implied that himself. So what is this now, Christians attacking all Muslims because a handful of Muslims plotted an attack against us? I don't support genocide.

The rest of the world looks at it differently. I don't think anyone in their right senses would say what happened during 9/11 was right or justified.
But American reaction in terms of going to countries and claiming to find terrorists and finding none, doesn't put america in a good light. There is loss of life, there are allegations that this is done because of oil and dirty politics. We created a mess, and can't act holier than thou about it. They are angry about that.

No one in the World had a problem with our going into afghanistan. It is Iraq that people have the problem with. I am not convinced that it was Muslims who attacked us on 9-11 it may have been something else.
Wow people call me stupid for daring to question a major attack on the United States. After reading the additions that the asker has added i am really scared for America. This guy cant even remember the series of events that led us to where we are today in terms of Iraq. To call all Iraqis who fight against the occupation of their country "gangsters" is absurb not to mention completely ignorant. Would you fight against an occupying Army if they invaded America? I know i sure as hell would. Just today in the news i read about the Shiite attacks rising to fill in the place of the Sunnis that we have driven from certain cities. Even amidst all the crazy ethnic and religious hatred between themselves, most Iraqis seem to agree that the US is the most important Enemy

Since the US supports the illegal actions of Israel and many other things, how should muslins seek justice? Not saying that 9/11 was a good thing, but terrorism is the weapon of the weak. If Arabs could attack the US with conventional armies they would

Many Muslims are against the war in Iraq and in Afghanistan (which is ridiculous since Afghanistan actually needed our help). Many of them even though they don't admit it sympathize with the terrorists because of their beliefs and devotion. They just want America to leave the Middle East alone. That is what Muslims want.

We could of found out who the real perpetrators are. If it wasn't BinLaden why did we waste so much time looking for him? If it was him why haven't we caught him yet? Why did we bring the war to Iraq when we didn't finish it in Afghanistan?
Why didn't we stop the attacks before they happened?
WHY ARE YOU ASKING MUSLIMS? Are Muslims the only ppl against this war??? Come on now...the answers I gave you are the answers anybody against the war would give you.
EDIT: I guess you don't want a real answer then. You just want somebody to agree with you.

i think those terrosrist they did what they did out of anger , they expressed their anger wrong , but due to the wrong policy of the usa in muslim countries they did so , iamnot trying to give them an excuse but iam also trying to put the facts in here,
i also want to draw ur attention to thoseTHOUSANDS of muslim women , childeren eldery.... ppl of all ages who are killed and tortured everyday for nothing , in iraq , palastine and somewhere elase , who would we stop that either?!!!!!
my opinion if really we want peace on earth , so let every body take his rights , the lands return back to their owners, there must be more respect to muslims and more undertsanding of islam.
peace :)
