well all dogs have different times for going into heat it might take a year or more to regulate it, but if she doesn't ever go into heat don't make her try to have puppies, but it shouldn't hurt her, just hold tight for another month or two.

you don't deserve a dog if you can't even take it to the vet!!! Why dont save up some money in your little piggy bank and go get her spayed then you don't have to worry about her going in to heat ever again!!
You have no buisness breeding because you are not a breeder, and if you were you would know to take her to the vet and you wouldnt worry how much money you spent because you would be broke anyway. Responsible breeders who do it the right way are!!

Edit~ If you are 13 you don't have any buisness breeding orbeing on here to give advice to anyone! you are not that knowlegeable about dogs and your mom should go get a job, you don't deserve a dog still if you can't bring it to the vet! It is not fair to the dog if they get hurt and you have to find a way to treat it your self and you have no medical expeiriance what so ever and just hope it works then it creats an infection and kills the dog becouse you just "didn't have the money to take it to a vet" Then all you'll do is feal sorry for your self for loseing a pet and you'll go get a new dog and start all over again!

I'm going to tell you to take her to the vet - not to get her to come in to heat, but to get her spayed.

So you can't afford to take her to the vet - WHY have you got a dog then? Get her spayed for heaven's sake - if you're short of money, you most certainly cannot afford to let her have puppies. Don't even think about it!

Also, spaying her now will prevent many verrrry costly conditions when she's older - namely pyometra, mammary cancer, ovarian/uterine cancer. The first two are particularly likely.

Phone your vet, ask how much it is to get her spayed then start saving - or work it our with carecredit.com. Chances are she's just being late coming in to heat - it's preferable to get a dog spayed BEFORE she comes in to heat for the first time, gives you the greatest protection against mammary cancer. So don't wait any longer!!

If you can't afford to take her to the vet, you can't afford puppies. And yes, even accidental puppies will cost you. As long as she's not spayed, you run the risk of her becoming pregnant-intentional or not.

It will cost you 10 times as much for her to have an emergency c-section, as it would for her to just be spayed.

Spay her, don't worry about heat. FIND the money. Get off Yahoo!, and take up a second job, if you have to.

Put a little money at a time in a little fund, and then when you have enough spay her. If you can't afford a vet, then you can't afford to have your dog have puppies. Being a responsible breeder and not just another horrible back yard breeder, you would have to have her health checked, (hips, eyes, elbows, and etc x-rayed).

There's nothing you can do to bring her into heat. Sometimes it just takes longer. Like some women, not everyone starts at the same age. We have a dobermen who didn't come into heat until she was 2.

Some females do take longer than others. Also some have what's called a silent heat and it's very hard to know when they are in heat. She should be fine. If you are still worried, when she gets her next set of shots, just ask your vet then. All the best;^)

Not going into heat? Why do you want her too? If you can't take her to the vet then you certainly don't need puppies.

For bigger breeds of dog, it can take 2 years to mature.

if she hasn't came back inside
just go out and get her! don't leave her out in the hot sunny dayy!!she needs water and food and nice cool air!!! just go out and get her.But if u meen going into heat?? then she's got her period i think if she's bleeding and that if there's males around she could have puppies if not fixed. And if its the other reason cause she's not comming back in then put her on a leash next time and tie it to a tree and make sure she's atleast 15 ft from the road!

That's okay. Some dogs go in late and very late. That's probably what's going on.
