It sounds fine, just make sure not too wear tight jeans while it heals. I had mine and i took every precaution lol make sure to wash your hands of course. Unless you see or feel it getting infected you don't have anything to worry about, the constant moving and friction from walking moves it around.

It does hurt. It's a very strange kind of pain though, and it isn't going to be like your naval piercing. It really hurts, but the pain literally only lasts about 4 seconds. Then it never hurts again. It's a really easy piercing to heal. 6 weeks at most. Soap once a day, soak in salt water once a day. That's it. It does increase sensitivity. Not a whole lot, but enough that you'll notice.

They usually aren't dead on center. There's massive blood vessels running through there, and the piercers have to be careful to miss those.
I'm not entirely sure i understand what you're describing, but if the jewelery is too big or too small (or too long or too short) it can effect healing time, and your comfort. The top part, the part that's on the actual piercing, shouldn't really move too much. It's never a bad idea to go back to the piercer to have them take a look.
I know, I obsessively looked at mine right after I got it done.

i have a 16g vertical hood piercing.
this doesnt happen to me, and i dont want to sound wierd, but maybe it's rubbing against your underwear?
i'm sure this is completely normal, i've found mine sideways a couple times if i'm wearing tight clothes and when i wear a hoop in mine.
if you think this is going to make it heal badly, then call your piercer and ask them, they would know more than anyone, but i have one and i'm sure it will be fine.
i hope everything works out!

your pants more than likely push it sideways. if it is perfectly straight and heals right, your barbell might still manage to twist sideways. i mean it would probably be more likely to stay straight if you wore baggy pants and went commando for a while.

go back to your piercer and ask them how it's healing and if you are worrying too much.
