Often when I hear a recording of myself, i hear myself almost mumbling. I can't fully explain it, but it almost feels like my voice is only coming from the front of my mouth. I seem to skip over some syllables; I feel like I said it, but my mouth just mumbles it.

Does anyone know how I can correct this?

Best thing to do? Stand up straight, hold your head up and speak slowly (not too slowly of course..) and clearly. Speak up if you need to.

If you're introverted, try finding an activity that will bring you out of your shell (sports; theatre; etc).

If you have a speech impediment, you may need the help of a speech therapist.

If you're still in school, there may be free help available for both of the above!
