Each person has their own preference. Being a skater, surfer, athletic, etc ... you probably will end up attracting a guy that has the same interests. otherwise, and even though things may work out at first, you may find that you lose interest in each other because you don't share the same interests. that of course depends on how important these hobbies rank in your life, and would you be willing to give them up if you are with a guy that does not share these interests.

A girl that I'd see as my type...
There are two routes we can go down:
1. A vivacious lady who can spark a good conversation, she should be able to listen and interact. Attentiveness is key. I think the right girl will be able to talk about herself instead of letting the guy ask the questions. Shy young men won't usually have the courage to muster up a decent question, but when the girl brings up a topic, a conversation can start in an instant. The right girl knows when to voice her own opinions in a way that won't criticize. The nice and vibrant girl can smile and greet people nicely, even if it's just a brief meeting in the hallway. I'm a nerd at heart, but I'll go on to say that my type of girl will be an intelligent girl who lets her casual words and actions define her personality. There's nothing nicer than to have a girl impress you with her academic acuity. She should also be moderately healthy.
2. The emo-girl: I don't know what's gotten into my head these days, but it seems like this is the alternative to girl number one. When i see one of these young ladies, I'm drawn to the unlimited feeling near her. I go into a conversation with the attitude that I want things to go right , and if there's any thing I can do to put a smile on her face, I'll try it. I feel like maybe at times these girls need some emotional support, and at those times it feels nice to help them become joyful again. Othertimes, when they're angry, I'll try to alleviate some of their stress. At certain times, however, I recognize the fact that they might need to be alone to think. These girls have a mystery about them, and they're cool to be friends with even if they aren't possible love interests.
Either of these girls is fine, as long as she doesn't do anything harmful to herself: no smoking, drugs, or lack of commitment to their significant others. If I found out that she falls under these categories, I'd try to steer her away from future consequences. Whether I could find myself to stay in the relationship is questionable, depending on how strongly I feel.

I'm a guy, and here's what I look for in a girl:
1. A pretty face (75% of first impression, 10% of overall)
2. A nice a** (15% of first impression, 10% of overall)
3. Nice rest of body (5% of first impression, 5% of overall)
4. A great personality (5% of first impression, 75% of overall)
Notice there are two categories: first impression (short run) and overall (long run).
Obviously, this is just an approximation I came up with. Personality includes: non-smoker, caring, honest, fun-loving, intelligent, and down-to-earth

i prefer 1 that is easy going but also likes to have fun, im 14. the sports u have r cool, i hate playing instruments, but love music. ur pretty sweet though.

I like girls that are into things other than just clothes shoes and makeup....
Many girls I meet have no other interest except looking good.....that gets old and annoying really quick

ur perfect i love girls that do that stuff but is also kinda laid back but likes to have fun and do stuff like bowling but also likes to just chill and she dresses kinda nice like tight jeans t-shirts comforable shoes
