I am a christian. I think religion sucks because of what you said above. If people truly followed Christ's teachings there would never have been horrible crimes commited against people and wars fought etc. He stood for love and peace and love your neighbor. People blame christianity for those horrible things but it is MAN OUT OF CONTROL IN THE NAME OF CHRIST who commited those acts.
You are right. biology & astrophysics never caused any problems as far as I can see. Good point.

I agree with Jack that it's mostly been swiss army knifefights, although lately multitools with their longer hilts and better grips are the weapon of choice.
But, it's not just the hard sciences. As a writer, (strictly amateur,) I once witnessed a duel on which two Literary Critics, armed with poison pens, killed each other.
I found the duel to be poorly conceived, loaded with cliches and stilted dialogue and ineptly executed--yet somehow, oddly satisfying.

None, but that Doctrine of the Trinity thing really caused a raucus didn't it? People accepted that one only after threat of death.
Remember the Cathars!

None. The people involved in the hard sciences solve their arguments and work out their aggression by playing video games.

numerous verbal wars... Scientists are a very passionate bunch ( in my own experience ). But at least they know and honestly believe in what they are fighting for...

None, most likely, though there've been a number of knife fights using swiss army knives

I feel sad you need to invoke pogroms in your question, nothing funny about it... many good and decent people have died in those, your avatar picture is also offensive, you POS,

My count, at least 1,267. But, if you leave out Einstein, it's only around 700 (that guy was a drunk!)
