Yes it's a petroleum (OIL) product so it has the potential to clog pores. I wouldn't use it on my face but it is a great moisturizer for the rest of your body if you have very dry skin.

DO not use Vaseline on your skin, period it's 100% petroleum
it's a cheap product that has no benefits (Sorry Tyra Banks)
contrary to what people tell you petroleum is about as safe as rubbing crude oil (motor oil) on your skin (and that gets absorbed) so - clogging your pores is your least worry.
Baby oil and mineral oil are also in the same family.
Use pure and natural products, only !
Vitamin e shea or cocoa butter aloe

It says on the tube that it doesn't clog pores, but I would certainly not risk it by putting it on over night. Just go out and buy a moisturizer.

I have used vaseline as a moisterizer but not on my face
I used it to prevent stretch marks. Its great for dry hands or feet, arms, legs etc. My face is very sensitive I have to be careful what I use on it. Its too greasy to use on your face.

Yes, very much so. The reason it's been used for cuts, scrapes, chapped lips/skin is it creates a barrier between the injury and the germs outside.

Not sure, but your face would be like an oil slick. Horrid.
Use it to condition your eyelashes instead and get a nice night-time moisturiser!

i don't know because oil is the one of main reasons you get acne and that doesn't seem like a bright idea

Yes. It's very thick and doesn't seem breathable.
