At 19, it is going to be hard to find a guy that wants to make a big commitment. Most guys your age are looking for new experiences and just have fun!
How can you get what you want? Don't settle for less. If the guys you are hanging out with are just looking for sex, then start exposing yourself to another kind of guy.

Hang on to it and don't let it go for no one unless you know for sure he's wants to be in a committed relationship. Some men can sniff the air and know there's a virgin walking down the street. I really don't know how they do it, but they do. You're not doing anything wrong, just a lot of tricksters out there going after the cherry. Take heed and sift through them with care till you find the right one. Good luck!!

Well, depends on were you look. I hate to say it but its hard to find somone looking for a steady relationship at a college frat party (Assumeing your a freshman by your age). 90% of the guys at places like that are going for a hit & run if they are confident enough to come talk to you. The guys standing at the wall too neverous to make a move will be the ones wanting more.
I suggest looking for guys in your class / library, anywere around campus that doesn't involve drinking / accessive partying.

You and I are looking for similar things. I am 20 and a virgin. I just want a decent girl that is down-to-earth, caring, and honest. It's possible that you're just looking in the wrong places. Try looking for more of a shy guy that isn't always in the spotlight, like the obnoxious jerks... They tell me to just have patience...

Alot of guys don't think about commitment until they're older! Then some never do! But your not doing anything wrong, just sounds like you haven't found the right guy for you yet!
He will come, in time - Enjoy life and don't rush anything!

stop focusing on your virginity. If you want to mantain it then make it clear that sex is not on the table. I know a guy who was a real player, but he met the right girl and has no problem with that, they are so happy together and its great for both of them. be yourself and stand up for what you want.

Change the types of guys you typically go with...
I'm 18-m and I haven't had sex yet either -just waiting for the right one.
But don't lower your standards or let any guys pressure you.

To get what you want, you have to go after it; nobody will do it for you. If you just wait for it to come find you, then you will be waiting alone for a very long time.
Confidence is attractive, desperation is not.
