Shows creationists aren't the only slow witted ones walking the Earth. How much further to we have to advance as atheists before we can claim superiority? Does our lack of a sense of humor at times bring us closer to our religious bretheren?

Did I just waste your time?

hehe
Sarcasm and parodies sometimes don't come across well in words I guess.

I have noticed that when a well-constructed but droolingly stupid spoof comes along, some people seem to find it hard to distinguish it from the droolingly stupid science-related stuff that christians ACTUALLY say.

I'm a fan of Wisdom Earl. I particularly liked his reference the other day to the famous linguist, M. Adjinari.

Theories, by their nature [and by the expert testimony of RS high school level scientists] evolve with discoveries of new evidence.

Naturally, any scientist welcomes new evidence with an open mind. Each waits hungrily to examine the evidence before forming an opinion. None cling to theories as though they were holy canon.

"Evolutionists are slow too. Why?"
Because most of them have been brainwashed into believing that "Thou Shalt Not Question the Fairy Tale of Evolution".

"How much further to we have to advance as atheists before we can claim superiority?"
If you really want to advance, you might want to think about switching to creationism. =OD

"Does our lack of a sense of humor at times bring us closer to our religious bretheren?"
Considering what a great sense of humor I have, I would say it pushes you further away.

"Did I just waste your time?"
Nah, not really.

That guy's fooled me a bunch of times too...

I wouldn't be too hard on people who don't understand it's a parody... there's plenty of really bad arguments for creationism that get made on this site and it's not that surprising that people think mine are just another one of those.

This guy's been posting all day and it's taking people way too long to get the joke.

Perhaps we're too clever for each other. I'd say we're farther from the religious people because we can outwit each other.
