My new cat was a bit standoffish, nothing like my big old baby that died a while back. It was a little dissapointing to me. I started really laying it on thick with her, uber baby talk, and she totally responds to that, she winks her little eyes at me and meows when I talk to her like that, then the petting festival begins. Now she's as affectionate as my old one was, maybe more so.

You bet I do! They also get lots of hugs and kisses. I don't care who sees me talking to my cats. I know they are animals and not able to understand the words, but they don't know that. They all think their peoples! Just ask em, they'll tell ya.

a million. i think like somebody should be conscious of. it form of sounds like now each and every physique is familiar with different than those 2, yet is the information to be broken to them. Brooke relatively should be the single to do it nevertheless. 2. I do believe that this storyline will bypass on constantly. My theory is that Brooke's infant is going to be a woman, she'll fall in love with little Will, and then the actuality would be printed 3. what is going on with Ridge? it relatively is somewhat stressful me too that each and all and sundry of those considerable activities have handed off and he isn't there. heavily?

I'm not sure if what I do is really baby talk, but yeah. I like to make up funny nicknames and songs to sing to her. I also talk to her like a grown up sometimes too. I'll tell her that I'm going to the store and I'll be back soon, and I'd like it if she would watch the house while I'm gone. Unlike your cat, though, mine tends to ignore me no matter what I say, unless I've got the cat food out.

Not baby talk, but I use the same tone of voice and tell him he is cute, and good, and I love him, stuff like that. However, my husband pretends to not even like the cat, and yet when he doesn't know I am listening I hear him cuddling with the cat and talking baby talk.

I sure do!! I baby talk to all of my kittens. My Female cat had a litter of 7 march 28th so I have a bunch of little rugrats all over my apartment. They defiantly respond to the baby talk it seems. They like it! They will roll over and want you to pet their belly when I talk to them like a baby. It is so darn cute.

*raising hand* Guilty as charged!! LOL I can't help it. I call my cats my babies with fur and four legs. I have to give them a kiss & a quick scratch on the head and tell them that "Mommy's going to work so that I can afford to buy more catnip & feathers" (they LOVE to play with feathers) every morning on my way out the door. They really respond to it and always come running to the front door when I come home in the evening.

Hi

I do and my cats recognize the tone of my voice when I do that and they know that it is a loving talk. Just like when I yell at them to get off the counter!!! lol, they know that is a bad sound.

If it works keep it up, not gonna hurt nothing
