the only way to download free songs is the illegal way...to download songs legally will require you to pay...legal websites are usually websites that asks for a cheap fee(not all of course, eg. pay the price of 1 to dwload 2 songs)

I have been using limewire now for over 3 years and have not had any problems. And I have not heard that it is illegal.

there is no where u can download songs for free thats legal. downloading songs without paying for them is always illegal.
all of the services the 1st person said is illegal.

I know there are services out there in which you can complete offers or click through ads to earn songs, but other than that, legally theres itunes, napster, and rhapsody.
